ban from DS forums
 

Hi

so I was perma banned from the Digital Spy forums, at the end of the email they sent me it said this

"Please note that accessing this site again would be in violation of our Terms and Conditions and we may file an abuse report with your Internet Service Provider."

do they mean even if I just click on the site while still banned they will contact my ISP or only if I attempt to make a new account they will? because I went back to the site after I was banned to log out and see if I could still view threads but I couldn't, what is wrong with that? could I be in any trouble?

I think they like undo permabans sometimes.

I'd imagine that "accessing the site" refers to logging into it, not completely sure though

Yes but when you're banned and go back to the site forums it just brings up a screen saying you're banned and expiration date if your're not perma banned.

Try clearing your cookies and trying to view the forum again.

Most likely it still has you logged in, hence the ban still coming up. Guests can view the forum, so once you have logged out, you should be able to view it :)

We always seem to get the DS rejects :bored:

Just don't register a new account because that's when you'll get in trouble.

My tuppenceworth for what it's worth is to agree with Vickster - they'll only hassle you and ban you again if attempt to join/log-in with different email but same IP. and the threat is just that unless you make serial nuisance of yourself. This is my understanding from some peeps I know who are perma-bannedo and emailed me to say bye from there.

I'd go on the run now if I was you, they've already sent some hitman onto you :P
