No you are not alone. I was so looking forward to UBB but it hasn't lived up to expectations. Some bits have been great - the nominations, clown, bedsit but in general it is disappointing.

IMO the reason is that the HM are not excited to be there. When they were in their BBs, being on BB was one, if not the best thing that had ever happened to them and it showed. They were full of life and unafraid to do anything. However, now they have all had success of different degrees, it doesn't offer them the excitement it did and it comes across. Even Brian said yesterday how many days do we have left 9 - it will seem like 9 months. In BB2 he couldn't get enough of it.

When HM come out of BB they usually say they will miss it and love being in there. I can't see that happening this year.

Whereas when they were in their BBs, they knew they would come out to possibilities they could only dream of - even if it is just doing a PA at a club. Many of them would never ever have had that in their ordinary life. Now what will they get - a bit more TV exposure, a few more mag deals but it won't significantly change their life. Only one can win. Whereas everyone wins if they want to from their BB, because their lives are transformed with opportunities.

To me they are all to cautious other than Nadia. They are trying not to stand out too much so they survive as long as possible. I think it is also a consequence of post-Jade BB. HM are very afraid of doing anything much whereas when they were in their BB they didn't care.

I am enjoying the farewell to BB to some extent, but it is going out with a whimper rather than a bang. The ratings and even the volume of comments on this forum compared to BB11 show it. It is time to say goodbye.

Meh, it's alright. Havent been able to enjoy it as much since John and Coolio left within 5 days of the show starting though.

Started out that way for me too. But having not seen BB7 Nikki is still a novelty with her permanent mard on, Chantelle is always good value and the Makosi/Ulrikka thing is simmering. Chanters/Nikki/Makosi for the win.

Im liking it now a bit boring at first Im loving Brian but this Victor lad who was going to do wonder's is a bore he's one of them that say's if it happen's again I will say something but never does he's said that everyday since he went in.

Yeah, Brian is the highlight of it haha :)

yeah its boring compared there hasn`t been any good twists and they do go to bed too early no action on late night LF

i agree with the op i only watch it casually now.

There is more to bb than a camp guy prancing around telling lame 1 liners

It started off well but it's just slowly fizzled and will probably get worse once Makosi and Nadia leave. :(

I think a main problem with BB11 and UBB is that the HMs are just too used to people walking in and out of the house. In the past HMs might have been bored just by themselves, and although it's a complete and utter p!ss take of the rules, the first time they had guests come in might have been fun for 5 minutes but now they're bored of that.

If BB just stuck to their guns and isolated the HMs with NO contact with the outside world, they'd focus more on one another and their emotions would bubble up. With new playmates just walking in all the time the HMs might as well just be sat in a cafe talking to any passers by and not taking in what they're supposed to be doing.
