The BB Movie Thread

Ok, 2 questions:

1) Do you think Big Brother should be made into a movie (to celebrate BB)?

2) Name 3 films you wished you'd seen (i.e. Avatar etc) but haven't yet.

This is a fun thread and I hope it gets loads of replies :) plz play!

lovinbruva 03-09-2010 07:56 PM

lovinbruva 03-09-2010 09:48 PM

aww thanx fingers :) but wud really like ur input all the same. do u think making a bb movie is a good idea?? or would it just not work??

Livia 03-09-2010 09:54 PM

Wouldn't want to see a BB film, although I thought Dead Set was pretty good.

I'll give the other question some thought....

lovinbruva 03-09-2010 09:55 PM

k livia thanx for replying :) yeah dead set rules!

looking forward to your answer to #2. :)

Big_Kahuna 03-09-2010 09:59 PM

Make BB into a movie. Mickey Rourke to play Nadia.

Livia 03-09-2010 10:00 PM

I see all the films I love... but I wish I had seen some on the big screen. Particularly: Alien & Aliens, The Godfather, On The Waterfront.

Livia 03-09-2010 10:01 PM

Oh... and Apocalypse Now.

lovinbruva 03-09-2010 10:05 PM

@livia, yeah i agree the big screen is always the best imo.

but what films have you yet to see (that you actually want to)? or r u a total movie buff thats seen every film? :)

lovinbruva 03-09-2010 10:06 PM

@big kahuna, lol yeah true. but seriously, join in the thread plz and state your 3 movies you still havent seen yet.

it took me until yesterday to see titanic (thats pretty bad, i know) at my mates house and i couldnt believe id missed it all these years.

fingers 03-09-2010 10:12 PM

Sorry, can't see it happening OR working tbh.

lovinbruva 03-09-2010 10:19 PM

thants cool fingers i know it might not be to every1s taste, in fact my mates have been laughing at my idea all day (blushes) but i wanted others' opinions too.

also plz answer the 2nd part i am interested in what films people are yet to watch. like big movie blockbuster types or even obscure indie films. just curious but really want 2 know :)

Big_Kahuna 03-09-2010 10:21 PM

1. Predators (it's probably rubbish)
2. Inception
3. The green mile

lovinbruva 03-09-2010 10:25 PM

I usually see the films I want to see at the cinema, or buy or rent the DVD, so there's nothing I'm desperate to see that I haven't yet. Wouldn't call myself a movie buff though.

Can't see how you could condense BB into a film and make it interesting... although Ben Elton's book Dead Famous (which was loosely based on the BB concept) was pretty good and wouldn't make a bad film. Have you read it?

Inception (will probably watch it tomorrow, but it is not a very good quality copy.)

The Expendables, but watched it last night, disappointing!

Kick Ass, hope it's not disappointing as well!

lovinbruva 03-09-2010 10:30 PM

no havent read dead famous but will look into it. its on amazon.com right?

i thought maybe they could make a 3-part trilogy film with some characters based on bb legends like nasty nick and coolio. maybe even get them to star in it too.

Mystic Mock 03-09-2010 10:52 PM

lovinbruva 03-09-2010 10:53 PM
