Nadia: "Big Brother has ruined my life"
 

Nadia has revealed that she is feeling "completely distraught" following her eviction on Friday and claimed that returning to the show has ruined her life.

The Big Brother 5 winner told the Daily Star Sunday that she has suffered abuse from the public since leaving the house and accused show bosses of misleading viewers in their handling of Coolio's exit.

"I want to end it all. I just feel my life isn't worth living any more," she said. "I can't carry on living the way I feel. I'm in the gutter and I'm completely distraught. Going back on Big Brother has ruined my life. I was the victim in that house but I was shown to be the villain.

"I'm just gutted. I hate my life so much right now and sometimes ending it all is the only solution. I'm at the lowest point I've ever been so I'm surrounding myself with friends and family and hoping God will be there for me.

"I was already in a vulnerable place and this has thrown me overboard. When this mess is over I just don't know what I'll do. I'm losing it. I'm emotional. This is the last thing I need in my life.

"My car has had eggs thrown all over it and I've had horrible notes sent to me, calling me a bitch. I've had to start avoiding people and stop answering calls. I don't know how much more I can take. I feel betrayed by Channel 4. There was no loyalty from them, no duty of care. They failed to protect me.

"Coolio targeted me on the first night and he wouldn't leave me alone. He kept asking about my gender status and he humiliated me over it. If it had been a racial slur they would have shown it but because it was against a transsexual they edited it out. They made it look like I wanted to leave over a pair of shoes but the truth is I was being bullied.

"I had a panic attack but that was left out as well. I'm going to speak to Ofcom and I want a public apology from Big Brother over this. I will be contacting lawyers and solicitors because I want to take things further. I was lured onto the show with them saying it would be a celebration. But after this I don't want to represent Big Brother any more.

"I don't feel safe to go out. I feel frightened. Big Brother discarded me. This has destroyed me. I was the nation's sweetheart and people embraced me. But now I'm the villain."

Defending comments she made to Josie about her relationship with John James, she added: "I stand by what I said. John James did treat her unfairly and he isn't genuine. She is such a lovely girl and she deserves someone better."

I wondered at the time why they said coolio had left by 'mutual consent' I'd never heard that used before so it was clear there was more to what happened.

if what nadia says is true then she certainly wouldnt have received as many votes as she did, I would say most people (including me) thought she was totally overreacting to things.

I think she's just annoyed because people don't love her anymore. I thought her treatment of Ulrika was un acceptable and un fair but Nadias problem is she will never admit she was the one at fault for anything

Well she might as well do the "magazine deals" get some money out of it all.

She needs like a month holiday away though.. somewhere secluded.. with no media getting in the way!! Once she is back.. the public would have forgotten about her.

I do agree that the BB producers are biased twats though but we ALL KNOW BB are biased twats and will bum their favourites in a better light (Ulrika) or miss out the controversial bits so that they don't get OFCOM complaints (Coolio). But yet.. they show all of Nadia's ranting and twist the editing of "Poor Ulrika" being the victim. Disgusting. 2 sides to every story......

Nadia was not innocent. She did deserve to get booed.. but BB have given Coolio and Ulrika an easy ride.

Ulrika deserves to get AT LEAST the same amount of boo's as Nadia when she gets out or even worse but BB are so far up her arse.. I don't why.. she is a boring old hag!!

I totally agree that plategate was ridiculous, its not like ulrika had them eating off the broken plate ffs, it was off to one side and no danger to anyone. However, this coolio thing has made me wonder just how much was kept from us.

Yes I agree but Nadia believes that she should be above all this. I do find her rude and argumentative and intimidating, she may have gotten a bias edit but if she had never acted in the manner she had they couldn't have edited her badly

Well we don't know what has been kept from us. Coolio may have been terrible to her, but it's been edited out so that BB don't get complaints again.

If you spend a long time with everyone telling you how great you are. Then any sort of negative behiviour towards you worse than it is.

She has been spoiled for the last few years with everyone praising her. She just got a bit of reality

True. Like I said Niamh.. after her "magazine deals". Well Nadia explaining her side of the story which she deserves.. she should get away out of the country for a month or something. It is not good for her being in the media spotlight. It is a shame for her.. winning 6 years ago and coming out disliked.. not hated.. I would just say.. "disliked". She did have her rants and that!! But erm.. don't think I found her intimidating.. she didn't really have a rant up to anyone's faces.. she was just walking around having a "rant".

Anyway this will all be forgotten about by next month. It is nothing like what Jade Goody went through....

Anyway like I said.. Nadia just needs a holiday.. to get away and have NO contact with the media.

She probably thought she would be loved again.. or.. it is only an 18 day show.. not much could go wrong?? and she did it for the money too? ahh well. Life goes on. lol

Sorry, but Nadia doesn't deserve all this at all. I'm no fan of hers, but I cannot believe some people's comments. Have you read about Coolio's treatment of her? I find it disgusting, and even more disgusting that it wasn't shown. It probably would've portrayed her in a totally different light. Her moaning/shouting/being nasty was probably as a result of the emotional distraught she suffered from being intimidated and broken down by Coolio. It seems some people on here don't understand how being a transexual can affect you psychologically. Nadia has now been portrayed as someone that can't take a joke, someone that overreacts and moans - which [after finding out about the Coolio stuff] seems not the case.

The Jade Goody effect really did happen. Going back in the house a second time can leave you for the worse. I feel sorry for Nadia as I did for Jade.

Poor Nadia :( Coolio is an utter twat. I'm really disappointed in Channel 4 for not being honest in what happened.

Yeah.. Danielle and Jo got an easy ride.. well Danielle definately did after that racism row where Jade was left to pick up the pieces.

This is the same with Nadia.... Nadia left to pick up the pieces while Coolio and Ulrika for their behaviour get away scot free..

It was obvious that Coolio had been making transphobic comments to Nadia & of course Big Brother edited this out. I feel Nadia has been portrayed badly & I can understand why she is so upset with the BB producers...

But the thing that is really sad is the pathetic JJJ fans slagging her off for saying what most sane minded people are thinking... And egging her car, FFS some people need to bloody grow up & realise that Nadia is a human being, not a panto villain to slag off for their entertainment... People need to get over it seriously.
