Can Someone Please Tell Me Why Monaco Play In The French League?
 

Monaco is a country so why does it play in the French League? Monaco should play in it's own league. Sort it out UEFA!

But to be fair it has a population of just over 30,000 people.

The population of monaco is around 32,500. Thats less than most of the big cities in France.

How are they to construct their own league with 30k people?

So they were most likely invited to join the league..

They could have two teams. South Monaco and North Monaco. They could ground share and play each other 38 times. Whoever has most points out of them 38 games is champion of Monaco.

The same reason as teams from Liechtenstein play in the Swiss league.
