Hit and run on the cobbles!

Coronation Street's David Platt will reportedly be accused of attempting to murder Graeme Proctor.

David (Jack P. Shepherd) and Graeme (Craig Gazey) fell out earlier this year, when the trainee hairdresser discovered that his friend was dating his ex Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan).

The Sun reports that the viewers will see the pair fight when Tina tells Graeme that David has tried to kiss her. A humiliated David will then apparently steal his grandmother Audrey's car.

However, it is claimed that David will then suffer an epileptic fit at the wheel, before knocking down Graeme.

"As far as police are concerned it looks like an open and shut case," an insider told the paper. "They fell out and David ran him down. No-one believes David when he says he can't remember it.

"He's just told too many lies before," they added.

The report adds that as he faces a life sentence, David will continue to black out - before he is eventually diagnosed as epileptic.

Me too, I read up on epilepsy and it said this in causes
"During adolescence and adulthood, the causes are more likely to be secondary to any CNS lesion. Further, idiopathic epilepsy is less common. Other causes associated with these age groups are stress, trauma, CNS infections, brain tumors, illicit drug use and alcohol withdrawal."

Now, you've just given me brain freeze taking all that lot in :joker:

Seriously though, I hope this isn't just some flash in the pan story, I hope they do it justice.

omg, I said that Whatsherface from This Morning said that a few weeks ago !!!

Scarlett. 07-09-2010 01:19 PM

Stress and trauma are surely the causes, I mean, David's not had an easy teenager life xD

I think they will do it justice, when I first heard of the storyline, it didn't seem right, David wouldn't try and kill Graeme, he isn't that person anymore

They seem to balance it right with him, where as currently in EE i've got bored of Janine as it's the same old every time:sleep:.

Aye, there has to be some depth to the characters, I hope when Tracy returns she'll have some depth

Oh she will, on the look out for the next victim and someone to have a catfight with:joker:.

I'm impressed with the way Rosie's character is going at the moment, the shallow thing has gone on the backburner for the moment.. obviously they're waiting for the Jason thing to be aired:p.

Scarlett. 07-09-2010 01:57 PM

Rosie is becoming less of a slut and more of a tart with a heart, she's becoming a really loveable character and Helen is much more comfortable with her character like this
