Emmerdale scoops three awards
Emmerdale wowed last night in front of TV royalty after winning three prizes at the TVChoice Awards 2010.
Comedian Alexander Armstrong hosted the proceedings in London's swanky Dorchester hotel, which honoured shows that have got the British viewing public talking over the last twelve months. Beating off stiff competition Danny Miller was the star of the show, not only winning the prestigious Best Soap Actor award for his portrayal of mechanic Aaron Livesy but also the emotional story of his character's sexual confusion and subsequent self-loathing also won the team Best Soap Storyline. New boy Adam Thomas went home a winner as well last night after receiving the Best Soap Newcomer gong for his role as Adam Barton - congratulations Adam, job well done!
