Away Kits
What exactly is an 'Away Kit'? And why is it called an 'Away kit'? :conf:
|
They're played in when the team are "away"...(ie. visiting the other team's home ground).
They're used in case both of their regular kits look similar. |
because teams use it when they play away from home perhaps?
Its used to avoid clashing with the other teams kit. |
I get what you mean but Portsmouth wore their 'away kit' in FA Cup final and that was played on neutral ground.
|
Because it would of clashed with Chelseas kit. You cant have two teams playing in the same kit or people will accidently pass to the opposition.

There is usually a toss a couple of days before the game to see who gets the home dressing room/away dressing room
|
Did they toss a coin to decide who would would have to change strip?
Away kits are for when strips clash. Third kits, on the other hand, are just a way of milking the fans for extra cash. :p |
Man City have a kit this year which they are only going to wear 3 times
Just makes you wonder whats the point lol |
Jesus, I hate Football and even I know this.
|
I don't like it when we have to change shorts colour or socks colour but keep the home top. Doesn't look right.
