Last Nights Eviction- The Way BB Should Be

I can't actually remember the last time there was such a positive atmosphere on the show during eviction, it was like watching a completely different show from last week.

It was very great to see the brilliant reaction of both evictees.
There were no "Get Someone Out" Chants during the eviction announcement, and no boos during both of the evictees interviews, quite shocking to witness.

It brings me back to BB1-BB3 to when the boos actually served a purpose and occured when they deserved to take place... Now its been a boo fest, thats why last night was brilliant. IMO, and other people agree, its the way BB should be, great to see cheers for once as the show is ending.

Some people at the eviction said the crowd cheered of their own free will, they were NOT told by Davina to cheer, they were hinted at though. Davina said "I know you probably won't listen, but would be nice to hear cheers in the last ever eviction" and there was no warn up guy telling them to boo like last Friday.

Lovely eviction. :)

I agree op it was a nice change to have a audience who actually appreciate it

It was good to watch for a change and nice to see the evictees smiling on their way out the door.

Yep it was good to see fans not travelling to it just to boo at all HM's evicted.

It was a good atmosphere which BB has lacked in recent years.

Yes, was more pleasant for the HM's. They left with dignity.

SocietyIsRuined 09-09-2010 09:38 AM

It was very fitting and the smiles on the evictees faces were good. :)

It was indeed good to hear those cheers.
Both the ladies had been good housemates, nothing at all to boo them about.
The crowd outside were brilliant last night.

I wonder if they'd been told to cap it after Nadia's lovely reception?

It's one option but I think a more probable is that there was nothing bad to say about the evictees. I think they behaved quite well in the house. Michelle's only "fault" was the group she was associated with but I sensed many times that she disagreed with a lot of the views they had. She seemed visibly uncomfortable with them at times.

I think I prefer it when they're booing :joker: I've just watched last nights eviction show (cba with highlights) and it did feel like early BB

No he didn't, they were booing the guy who jumped the fence, it was just bad timing

Niamh. 09-09-2010 10:18 AM

and yeah Salv, I agree 100%. Like you said back in the early BBs if some one was Booed it really meant something, the last few years almost everyone gets booed and it's stupid and annoying.
