How much was Ulrika paid?
 

Apparently BB paid a pretty high sum for Ulrika. So the question has to be, WHY?

Whos decision was it to put Ulrika into the UBB house? One of the worst HMs ever and utterly boring and she did **** all. Why was she paid a high sum over others who you could argue deserved it more than her and why was she put into the UBB house?

Well, the first time she was paid 175.000. I read somewhere that the housemates from the ordinary seasons would be paid 10.000 and only a few would be paid 20.000. Judging by the fact that Nadia wasnt happy that Ulrika was been paid this time 5 times as much as her, and it seems very unlikely that Ulrika would do it for only 50.000. I think Nadia got 20.000 and Ulrika 100.000

The executive producers of the program will have decided and authorised renumeration to the various individuals featured in the program.

Funny old thing but one or two of the guests appearing in cameo roles on BBLB, BBBM, or popping into the house for tasks received more money for their 10 minutes than actual housemates did for their contracted tenure in the house

An utter joke. I can't believe people are PAYING that much for a woman who just have NO news on here in the mainstream media. I can't believe she has earnt that much in this series.

God knows why she was picked to go in. It will always be a mystery. Her 7th place just proved it was a bad choice. She must have been an original choice too as somebody with 4 young kids needs time to plan for something like this. She wouldnt have been a last minute replacement....which is what you'd think!

Annoying when you start thinking of all the others who could've took that place.

I saw somewhere that Nadia had said in the toilet she got 10 000 and Ulrika got 50 000. I don't know if it's true though because we didn't see her at the time and therefore we couldn't read the lips.

Anyhow, it's a lot of money and neither were worth it.

You need to remember that being on the show also gets them lots of other work too. So it's a shop window for them.

So £10 grand is a pretty decent sum for starters.

My children were asking me who she was and why is she famous, so I told them she was a weather girl who slept her way up with many many men. I really dont like her and she was the worst housemate EVER

It's over now, but looking back I wish they hadn't used any celebrities for the ultimate show.

I agree. And I said it before too.

They would have all been on an equal footing and there would be more jealousy and rivalry.

With the mix there was an instant hierarchy that just ruined the dynamics.

It seems that some people were in it just for the money. I think Ulrika was at least. I'd say Preston was there mainly for the money but he also didn't mind to be able to be friends with Chantelle. Nadia was in it for the money but she thought she would win it too. John was in for the money but I think that deep down he was there for the experience as well. Victor wanted to win but that's just Victor. Chantelle was there to get Preston back. Nick was there to show what he's like. The rest I'd say were there for the experience, but I think that Nikki and Brian also thought they had a chance of winning it. And there's nothing wrong with that because they truly had the chance.

John was an example that the celebs were in it for the money

Well theyre in it for money and exposure. Hopefully leading to a higher profile and more jobs.

John McC is actually a huge BB fan so I think he would probably do it for nothing tbh. He does all kinds of degrading things on BBBM anyways and he cant get paid much for that!

I still can't believe they put her in! Think of the other potential regular series HM's they could have put in instead.

I agree....and its that plus the focus too much on certain series that made this UBB not the ultimate.
I was never a Brian Dowling fan but at least he was a worthy winner as he was an actual winner.
