Those who criticize our generation forget who raised it.

Brilliant quote :) Definitely a good one to use when being criticized for being born in this generation, by some stuck up, one dimensional human being.

Brought a smile to my face!

Braden 11-09-2010 11:10 PM

Who said it? :)

Lewis. 11-09-2010 11:14 PM

Er.. well... A.. erm.... Facebook group?

*Hides in shame*

Jordan. 11-09-2010 11:16 PM

LOL, I like this. :)

Stacey. 11-09-2010 11:17 PM

Sorry but I don't understand?

LaLaLand 11-09-2010 11:18 PM

I used this once on a bus when some old lady accused me of being inconsiderate a "selfish little git" for carrying two huge files for college in my hand and I accidentally knocked her with them (which I obviously apologised for).

It was a proper "OHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" moment when I said it, I wanted to click my fingers and be like "mhmmmm!" lmao.

Miserable old bag!

Basically, people who criticize our generation [Young people] are generally the generation above and the ones that raised us.. so they're mostly to blame.

Braden 11-09-2010 11:18 PM

It's totally true though Lewis :D

Thanks. I still don't get it though.

Doesn't it mean like older people that criticize us are to blame?

Edit: Think I sorta get it now actually.

Basically. They are the ones who brought us up and told us right from wrong so they have no right to criticize what we have turned out like.

It's a bit of a silly quote really. The older generation are not strictly to blame for this generations shortcomings. Parenting didn't make this generation a vacuous, vapid, tawdry, hyperactive cesspool of garbage, things like Facebook and shows like the X Factor did.

Our parents certainly didn't create the ~woah I'm so random and krazy XD~ cliche for us. We did.

BB_Eye 12-09-2010 10:10 AM

Chavs aside (who I don't even consider human so they don't count), I've met way more rude, self-centred middle aged folk than young people.

Jords 12-09-2010 10:49 AM

Well said!

30stone 12-09-2010 11:00 AM

More people who are middle aged or "elderly".. the elderly are ****ing arrogant.

I work in a shop and the amount of times some old person doesnt move out the way for you..
.. tell you that you SHOULD stock something only they want..
Tell you how to do something better.
How they shouldnt have to wait in line..
