EXCLUSIVE: HERE WE BIG BRO
EXCLUSIVE BB7 to sneak out soccer challenge winner to see England in Germany
By Jon Kaila
BIG Brother bosses plan to sneak a lucky contestant out of the house to see England in the World Cup.

They'll whisk the winner of a football-related task off by private jet to Germany to watch England play in the knock-out stages if Wayne Rooney and his teammates get through.

During the 24-hour trip the winner could see either the quarter-final, semi-final or the final. The contestant will be smuggled back into BB7 house with strict instructions not to tell anyone. Producers reckon it'll keep viewers glued to their sets and smash rating records for the Channel 4 show.

An insider said: "Everyone's excited about this one. They wanted to do something to take in the World Cup because the contestants will be in the house throughout the tournament. But this is a very ambitious project with potential pitfalls, including how to stop the housemate being recognised and mobbed by other England fans."

The BB rules shut off the house from the outside world. Housemates are not even allowed newspapers or books. In BB4 eventual winner Cameron Stout swapped places with Ugandan Gaetano Kagwa. Both sets of housemates saw it happen but this time it'll stay a secret until the show ends.

The source added: "It'll be very hard for the housemate to keep the secret especially if England win it. If they fail to keep it secret they'll be evicted."

BB7 runs for 13 weeks from the end of May, while the World Cup begins on June 9 with the final in Berlin on July 9.

World Cup willies for house
by DOMINIK LEMANSKI

BIG Brother bosses are to send two lucky housemates to the World Cup – and drive rivals crazy with jealousy by relaying back all the thrills and spills from Germany.

It’s all part of a plan by programme bigwigs to make sure the hit Channel 4 show is once again a ratings winner.

The idea was hatched after the schedules put Big Brother head-to-head with the world soccer tournament in June…and gave hostess Davina McCall’s bosses the willies about what effect this could have on viewing figures.

They then hit on the plan to incorporate the World Cup into tasks…at the same time as trying to make them as evil as possible.

An insider said:“Hopefully, it will cause real ructions in the house when two of the housemates are flown out to Germany. They will rub the other housemates’ noses in it because footage of them watching the game will be relayed back to the house.

“Housemates will also be able to hear what they’re talking about – and no doubt they’ll bitch!”

Feast

Bigwigs on the show – won last year by Geordie Anthony Hutton – hope this will help to tempt viewers away from watching the month-long football feast on rival channels.

The glory bid by England skipper David Beckham and his boys is expected to draw in millions of viewers for matches televised by BBC and ITV.

Our source said:“It could hit Big Brother really hard. That’s why we are trying to include the World Cup in the hope it will tempt some people away.

“The show will actually start a couple of weeks before the World Cup, so hopefully by then enough people will be hooked.”

Big Brother is expected to last a staggering 13 weeks – longer than ever before.

It can't be. They wouldn't reveal the twists now, as the housemates would know them all before they got in the house. They would know what to expect.

krissybabe06 31-03-2006 03:41 PM

yeh exactly and from my point of view i doubt the housemates have even been picked yet! so rumours are just people making accusations that go round and round like a flippin roundabout in circles!:hello:

No1MakosiFan 31-03-2006 05:16 PM

Oh, how controversial, would it be great. I wonder how long the housemate will be able to keep this one a secret.

krissybabe06 31-03-2006 05:49 PM

hmm i wonder aswelx

x-heather-x 01-04-2006 10:41 AM

I think it sounds a good but very very hard task. To keep it a secret would be even better viewing.

krissybabe06 01-04-2006 10:43 AM

yeah i agree! because if rumours go round and round everybody will know and expect it so shhhhh every1 cause i want surprises from bb7 too you know lol! i dnt want to know everything bfore it happens!!!
