It was on last night at 02.25 am.

This is the big conspiracy, numero uno of conspiracies. Followed it for years and been equally convinced of both sides. Swallowed Oliver Stone's JFK hook, line and sinker, then was convinced by a BBC docu narrated by Gavin Esler that it was rubbish. Now, I believe Stone nailed it.

There were just too many powerful people who wanted Kennedy dead. I think 5 suspects were named. I believe more than one of them had plans to but that only one did, possibly the oil men Johnson indiscreetly told his mistress about. The rest were just too delighted it had been done, the FBI, the CIA etc. Those 2 were enough to ensure any proper investigation was frustrated, because if someone hadn't done it for them they would have had to do it.

It was like the murder of Julius Caesar. They all had their knives out for him.

Gavin Esler rubbished Stone's JFK in The Kennedy Assassination: Beyond Conspiracy, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3226908.stm but the documentary last night put meat on the bones of it. Having seen both I believe Esler is wrong and Stone right.
