1 Big Brother a year for 10 years gives us... *11* Big Brothers...
This question has now been answered if you read the next couple of posts, so no need to post the answer. :)
|
BB10 was it's tenth series/year, BB11 was it's tenth anniversary.
Like how when you're a newborn baby it's your first year and when you reach your first birthday it marks the start of your second year and so on |
But ignoring the whole 2000 being BB1 and 2001 being BB2, the fact is that...
Oh wait I see it now. Thanks. XD |
Welcome. It's strange that this year marks Eastenders' and Corrie's 25th and 50th anniversaries/'birthdays' which means they're technically in their 26th and 51st years just as BB was in its 11th
|
Because it was over 10 years, something like 10 years 2 months
|
Because it started in 2000, not 2001.
2000 - BB1 2001 - BB2 2002 - BB3 2003 - BB4 2004 - BB5 2005 - BB6 2006 - BB7 2007 - BB8 2008 - BB9 2009 - BB10 2010 - BB11 BB10 had the 10th series anniversary, this is the 10th year anniversary. Since BB1 started before the 1st year anniversary, BB10 started before the 10th year anniversary. |
In other words, the series number of BB is always one ahead of the year its being broadcast in.

Yeah I understood it all ages ago.

You aren't 1 when you're born. You have to wait 1 year. Same as Big Brother. BB1, BB was '0' years old.

You start at '0' so don't count it as 1,2,3 etc. Therefore you get 11 series.
haha just had to  |
^LOL at least you realise. XD
But I'm gonna edit my first post. |
