Who has actually made a strong career so far out of being on a reality TV show and will still be famous in years to come? e.g. X Factor, Britains Got Talent, Big Brother, Pop Idol.

Jade undisputably from Big Brother, never to be forgotten.Great lady.
Leona Lewis from Xfactor and also Jedward(they will be entertaining for ages, great visual stars), Susan Boyle from BGT, she will likely be the only one from that since they go for dance acts which somehow have little time of fame really.
Cheryl Cole of course,part of Girls Aloud and also a solo act now.
Very few people in the main though will have decades of success. Ben (BB11)of course, will likely be on TV for a number of years and will I am sure get his own chat show or some kind of series. Leona Lewis has made it big in the USA so she will last and Jedward are likely to become like Ant and Dec in the future,with numerous shows and programmes wanting their input.
