TIBB is the only one I go on so I don't know about the others.

I love forums, but I can't find any good one's. The only two I like are DS and TiBB.

When I first came to TiBB I didn't like the massive signatures and avatars, but I got use to it.

Even if the name of this site was changed, it wouldn't really matter because it covers other things. BB is only part of it. You can go and discuss films, off-topic chat, music, politics etc.

The site does need work doing though.

They could put an Advice forum up to start with, and get rid of the TV show forums that are no longer running.

I think recently, very recently, TiBB has gone downhill

The only other forums I use are talkclassical and Gamespot.

Gamespot has sucked for years. It's mostly just 12 year old Americans posting old memes from five years ago. The forums they have for specific games are merged with gamefaqs, which also sucks. Discussions are routinely juvenile and rude. The mods are arseholes, very much like DS when I used to use it, with zero sense of humour and people receive brownie points on their profile, the more they hit the report button. All swear words and even the word 'gay' is banned.

Talkclassical has gone downhill in the sense that you just get lots of novices/newbies coming posting threads like "I'm looking for a dark depressing piece of music that sounds like Carl Orff" or "suggest some classical music to a metal fan" and then leaving, never to post again.

Not really, most of the forums I go on are just the same as they always were.

I'd like to be on an active forum on a bigger scale than this, but I don't have the patience or tenacity to introduce and establish myself again.

TiBB is the only one I go on. And has been hit with particularly large dose of idiocy recently that will see it's demise.

I use other forums (footy related) which are really busy so it does seem pretty dead here in comparison but c'est la vie. Haven't been here much the past month or so, so don't know if the arguing and trolling is still going on, but it was putting me off tbh and it's the reason why I don't post much now, although tbf I also don't have a lot of spare time these days anyway.
