Cheryl has to go with who she believes in. If she see's something special in Cher then she should pick her. Most artists split opinion anyways so its better to have an interesting artist who gets people talking rather than a dull artist with a decent voice. Truly amazing voices are very rare.

Yeah, although I think he might've changed his mind about her this time round.

Simon is not sympathetic at all to acts failing to perform and complete a song, he would have likely said, too young, maybe come back next year.
Cheryl will find when she puts here through that this will happen on the live shows, for the reason Cher will not be picking what she sings, she will have to sing songs she won't feel comfortable with and that's the big problem.
This song tonight was far from suited to her too.

Actually if Simon did make those choices he would be right in doing so. If Cher doesn't go through it is definetely the right choice. You have to earn your place in the live show by performing consistently well and Cher has just got worse. I don't expect a hardcore Cher fan to understand this though as in your eyes she can clearly do no wrong.

But it wasn't actually her fault that she couldn't perform properly, because of her throat. She couldn't control that and she didn't know it was gonna happen. She did her best and at the end, no sound would even come out. At least she tried.

I agree, at least Cher is getting people talking whether it's good or bad and not being wallpaper in the background:p.
