Preston woos Chantelle with French songs
Je T'aime Next Chantelle Watch story
2 Mar 2006 GET thee to a Travelodge. Now that Preston and Chantelle are dating “officially”, they are free to kiss, smooch and feel as they dine at London’s Yelo restaurant. "Je t'aime." "You wot?" And they can go shopping together, too. The Mirror spots the pair out in London’s Selfridges department store. Preston and his band the Ordinary Boys had been on tour in Japan for a week, which meant he was happy to be with his blonde lover, even if it did mean shopping. But the fun can’t last forever. This is a working relationship. Back in the offices of Chantelle Inc., the Sun hears Chantelle say that she wants Paris Hilton to appear on her reality TV show Chantelle: Living The Dream. Chantelle, who used to work as a Paris lookalike, says: “I think it could happen and it would be so exciting to meet her. Basically it’s a case of ‘my people’ are talking to ‘her people’ and we’ll see what happens. That’s right. Chantelle has ‘people’. She is now a star. And that requires dedication. Even if Preston is serenading her in French – a language Chantelle has next to no knowledge of – she is sticking to the job in hand: making Chantelle famous. But what about Preston and those French croons? “I had a French girlfriend,” says Preston, “so I thought I’d best learn the language. She supplied me with loads of French easy listening music and that’s how I picked it up.” Ah, oui, ze French lovur. While Preston does an impression of Charles Aznavour at his most frisky, the Star hears from Camille Aznar, for it is she. Alongside a picture of the lovely Camille and the caption “DUMPED”, the French girl has a few words of warning for Chantelle. “Whoever he’s with, his first love will always be his music,” says she. “She’ll discover what she needs to know about Preston soon enough.” Looking at those pictures of the pair eating out, and each other, in London, Chantelle might know more about Preston than is decent. And there might be more to come. The Star hears from Vivien, Chantelle’s mum. And she likes Preston. “He’s a lovely boy and we’d welcome him into the family,” says she. “He’s treated her how a boyfriend should treat a girl.” Although not a French girlfriend called Camille, obviously... http://www.anorak.co.uk//news.cfm?id=169254 |
