I'd like either Gaynor or Stefan to win, Davey :thumbs:. Although Bonnie's probably the best technically, I can't help but find her a little smug and conceited Imo :rolleyes:.

I expected Bonnie to go out first, even though she's my favourite. The best generally doesn't win the 'learn a skill' shows - the voting seems to be all about the journey.

Wasn't at all surprised that Bonnie was 3rd ... IMHO she was technically the worst skater. Sure she look fabulous when she was being lifted and twirled in the air, but when she wasn't holding onto her partner and had to skate on her own, she was very shaky.

Pleased for Gaynor that she won - she skated beautifully and was very elegant. The rapport between her and her partner was brilliant too. :colour:

However, the star for me was Stefan. As in ordinary dancing, it's SO much harder for the man ..... he has to look as if he's leading the woman, show her off, and do all the lifts as well. He was fabulous. :dance:

Best celebrity routine of the night for me was Stefan and Christina's Bolero .......... just wonderful. :dance:

Saw Torvill & Dean skating live in Aberdeen in 1996 when they did their World Tour after they won the bronze medal at the Olympics doing the 'Let's Face the Music and Dance' routine. It was absolutely fantastic ..... will never forget seeing them skate 'Bolero' right in front of my eyes ...... pure genius. :love:

I didn't like it as first .. i thought it was just a copy of Strictly Come Dancing .. but i got in to it and really enjoyed it.

I assume they will do another series as they kept saying 'who do you want to crown the dancing on ice champion 2006' and they usually say that in programmes when theirs another series.

I hope their is and i was reading in the paper that the viewing figures were quite big.
