There's probably been one but...well who cares.

'War and Peace' by Leo Tolstoy. This is going to take weeks :(

Booky wook 1, surprising good sofar :)

'Dying Light' by Stuart McBride.

If you like crime/detective/thriller novels then I'd really recommend him as an author.

That's my favourite book of the series!

I'm going to reread the Dealthy Hallows once I've finished this book, in time for the film :)

Yep, I love how dark it is. And I kinda prefer where the death eaters are talking and stuff. We know all about Harry and the rest, so it's interesting to see their characters develop and learn about their pasts.

Bless you. I just checked. My bookmark is on chapter 17. I hope to read it all in time before the film comes out. I need to be in the zone to read though..

Yeah I know. I wouldn't be able to finish Twilight then read the rest of Deathly Hallows (I think I was 8 chapters in? :conf2:) and revise for my mocks all in time for the film in November lmao.

Well you've got time to go back and read it all again from the beginning before the film comes out

That and the Prisoner of Azkaban are my favourites for that reason, they start getting progressively darker and you learn more about Voldemort's past etc, fleshes out the whole story away from just being about Harry and his pals at Hogwarts.

Oh **** sorry! It is quite a beast of a book, maybe watch the first film (it looks like they aren't going to miss much out from the book this time) then read the book up to the point where the first film ends, then watch the second part, and then go back and finish the book  That way you don't spoil anything, or am I just getting too complicated? :joker:

I'm exactly the same, The Prisoner of Azkaban is probably my fave out the series. You have good HP taste Michelle  I'm always suprised when I re-read the books how little I remember of them

Really  That was my least favourite lol. The Goblet of Fire was probably my favourite although I really enjoyed Chamber of Secrets. For some reason I cant really remember how much I liked the more recent ones lol.

For me it was a lot to do with Sirius, I loved his character (and having Gary Oldman play the part in the film just made him come to life perfectly), I loved the way the film seemed to get all of a sudden darker as well to match the impending sense of doom and the final battle that was sure to come between Harry and Voldemort. The first two books were great at setting the scene and getting to know the 'goodies' lol but the baddies are a lot more interesting I think!

Love The Goblet Of Fire as well. Really loved the twist as well. Well few twists that ended up happening
