Cher Lloyd was apparently close to collapse after Sunday night's X Factor results show.

The 17-year-old is said to have burst into tears, started shaking hysterically, screamed at passers-by and collapsed backstage after it was announced that she had got through to next week's show.

Lloyd even needed the support of a crew member as a "human crutch" in order to get to her waiting car, according to the Daily Star, and show bosses are becoming increasingly worried about her fragile condition.

A source said: "It's not looking good for her. She may have an amazing voice on stage but once the bright lights are off she is a wreck. We don't know how she is going to last until Christmas."

Another insider added: "Cher is a real cause for concern now. Her mood swings, tantrums and now this collapse are adding up."

Lloyd won rave reviews from the judges for her performance of 'Just Be Good To Me' on Saturday's first live show, for which she was reportedly given vitamin injections to combat her nerves.

get the **** out of the show bitch!

HBB1508 12-10-2010 08:56 AM

I can only hope they kick her off and send her home.

Niamh. 12-10-2010 09:26 AM

it was pretty obvious that she wasn't ready for it at judges homes. She looks ill, like she isn't eating properly as well.

Legend killer 12-10-2010 09:31 AM

Give her a good fry-up and tell her to **** off

Niamh. 12-10-2010 09:33 AM

yeah, LK I can't see what all the fuss is about her at all, he voice is average at best imo

Totally agree IMO she is one of the worst singers in this year's show, yet ppl bang on about her as if she is the best thing since sliced bread. I hope the X-factor ppl step in soon to remove her not just for the reason that i dont like her , but for the fact she looks in a really bad way

You are spot on. I just cannot see how the judges cannot see this as well, she looks as if she is near a nervous breakdown, I don't see her getting better either as the pressure increases week by week,it doesn't get easier.

I wondered if she has an eating disorder, she looks painfully thin

fruit_cake 12-10-2010 10:46 AM

she's definately got the 'annorexic' look about her.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of hers but I'm not saying it to be be bitchy, she just looks far too thin imo I wonder if the X-Factor people check the contestants out mentally and physically?

SacredDiablo 12-10-2010 10:55 AM

dun know why but i just prefer katie than her! anyone shares the same sentiment? :conf:

Not really a fan of either tbh but If I had to choose one over the other talent wise, I think Katie has a better voice

SacredDiablo 12-10-2010 11:07 AM

i didnt like both but somehow im beginning to like katie more..... and she belted out a note which amazed me during her singoff.... however i still detest cher and will always....

I struggle to believe stories like this, It's easy to say it's from a source within the show since the media are allowed to keep the identity of 'sources' quiet. Even when they do lie and statements get released denying the story that's still a story in itself.

File this and any tabloid claiming they have 'insiders' in the 'sure to be 99% BS' folder. If there was any real concern they'd have concrete proof of it and X Factor wouldn't risk it after Shirlena and Susan Boyle.

I can't believe that the producers of the programme haven't taken this more seriously. Cher has to be all of six stone, her head is a lollipop and her arms are like sticks. What a disaster for the programme if we have a Karen Carpenter style heart attack to deal with.

If a contestant was on drugs they would be evicted but she is playing roulette with her life tenfold on drugs.

I am her biggest fan, but the producers must make har eat and weigh her to make sure she is.

No wonder she's cranky, moody and prone to the odd tantrum or two. I'd be the same if I was living on fresh air. Honestly don't think the girl is fit for a demanding show like this and Cheryl was wrong to put her through.

No doubt Cheryl has gone down the eating disorder route herself and likely to sympathise. But there should be a minimum weight requirement with reference to height , just as the suggested controls on models.

I somehow doubt it, and the thing is that I can't even imagine how physically and mentally exhausting a show like the X Factor would be for even the strongest of individuals, so what it's doing to her tiny frame and obviously nerve shattered mind? Nah, big mistaketo put her through.

Cher is absolutely useless. She cannot rap, her voice is average, and she looks like skeletore with eyelashes.

Gamu should be there instead of her. For cheryl to even consider putting this fail through to the live shows after what happened at judges houses...when she wouldnt even come back to try a THIRD time at a song she messed up (yeah, she had a bad throat, but she could have at least shown that she wanted to try)...is just ridiculous. What a pathetic judge she is this year.

Gamu looked every bit like a cliche or someone trying to do a young Diana Ross in the Supremes in Stars in their Eyes. Cher is her own person and new, she should have been given the nod over a copy cat.

I worry her tiny body will not take it and snap, other than the health risks though, Cheryl was spot on. And that goes for Katie too.

If cher could sing, then I would agree. Yeah, originals over copies anyday. As it stands, she cant sing, forgets her words, and doesnt even try to sort it out when she screws up. And thinks she can rap, when it is just embarrassing to watch.

Noone else would have been put through after such a dreadful bootcamp/judges houses audition.

I still didnt see Gamu as a copy though...

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 12-10-2010 12:29 PM

Look just take her off the show. She's mentally unstable and will go into complete depression if she doesn't win.

Sense before money and ratings people!! Or does the unstable rule only apply to less "marketable" people?

Not really qualified to disagree, and quite a few acts do weird. But she stands out IMO.
