She was robbed! Laura and Joanna both deserved to go over her tbh. She has been fired way too early and Lord Sugar hasn't given her a chance.

Granted, she didn't exactly set the business world alight, but neither does Laura. Laura should have been fired because she is both dull as dishwater and was ultimately responsible for the failure of the task. Glad Joanna stayed as she seems to be the main cause of conflict and entertainment now.

Joy might not have done much in these first two weeks but if she had been given a chance to project manage, then we might have seen more of her. And Sugar has kept layabouts in a lot longer than two weeks in past series. Anyone remember Majid Nagra? Did absolutely nothing but sit on the fence, but wasn't fired until about week 5 or 6.

Laura has been given her chance to manage and has blown it. I honestly can't see her improving. She isn't longed for the business world.

Agreed. Joy shouldn't have gone, but she did have 2 weeks to at least try and impress, and she was a weak member. So I'm not to gutted she has gone, as long as laura goes soon :)

I wonder will he be the Earl or Duke of or Prince Sugar next year.

In the real business world Lord Alan Sugar would have never tolerated the failure to close an exclusivity deal with a chain like Boots,no way.
In his 'real' world the person who didn't sieze that would be out on their neck,however the AAprentice is not his real world, he plays to the cameras and Joy's face didn't fit.as simple as that.

The worst part of the whole process was that he asked Laura to name 2 people to come back in and she did,but then to add insult to injury she then got the chance to say the names again and this time she chose Joy who she hadn't previously.

For all that indecision, and the failure to get an exclusive contract with Boots and being team leader,no businessman would have tolerated further Laura.She would have been out.
A total farce,I don't normally watch it but the whole decision process of who got fired was unreal and unbelievable.

Tbh I think some of the time he keeps them in because he fancies them. It's Laura this year but another example was Kate Walsh who, despite mucking about with Phillip for the entirety of one of the tasks, still managed to survive the boardroom. Now that would never happen in the real business world.

Yeah, Joy shouldnt have been fired. I mean, she even cooked the sausages in the first week ffs, she was clearly an excellent candidate

Yeah, it cos Laura got totally bullied when she chose that other girl so she wimped out and changed her mind

They defo had it in for poor Joy. Her politeness got in the way of her goal.

Laura should of been fired, she'll probably make it quite far now, and then he'll realise when she is made team leader again, how poor she was.

tbh I think Laura knew she would be able to railroad her easily and Joy wouldn't have put up as much of a fight, thats why she changed her mind - she was fighting to save her own neck. I suppose thats what its about really. They were all like a bunch of fishwives and good on Karen for pulling them into line. Laura was obviously the weakest link last night and hopefully will be fired soon. A shame for Joy but tbh I think she would have gone soon because she was a bit weak

My thoughts too. When she said look at yourselves to the squabbling kids in the boardroom she was so damn right.

The team leader gave the most incompetent performance in the history of the programme. The Asian girl's idea was actually not that stupid (the bookeeze) but the designers came up with a ****** of a prototype - none of the girls faults. However, the leader gave no support and the team disintegrated. Her turning down of Boots ******ing beggars belief. She is a dim witted model. I would like to say why I think Sugar kept her in, but wouldn't want to get sued.

Joy actually came across as quality, came up with the right tactics for victory in week one, flunked a bit on task two, but the only one who conducted herself like an adult.
