How do you deal with an unruly neighbour?

...aside from contemplating murder?:conf:

Some new guy just moved in next to me, and since the beginning he's been playing extremely loud music. One day we met on the stairs and he himself asked if his music bothers me. I said yes it does actually because the walls are thin. He said yeah ok sorry about then. That was civil and I thought he would be a bit more considerate now but noooooooooooo!!!! :cloud: he doesn't give a ****, in fact it's louder!! He sometimes comes home screaming, banging walls.....gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aa!!! :cloud: I slipped section 3.5 of the building's license agreement which states that nobody should play music or radio loud enough that it becomes a nuisance but he still doesn't give a ****!...gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I hate him!! I don't want it to be so big of a deal I have to tell the landlord but it's getting to that!!! He seems crazy if I deal with him head who knows what he's capable!!!!!!!! GGGGGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAA.
As we speak it's louder than ever and I can't focus on work I have to type up!!!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Nip the problem in the bud ..... report him to the landlord .....

Jordan. 17-10-2010 08:41 PM

Break into his house and smash the stereo to pieces.

Stacey. 17-10-2010 08:42 PM

Get Marge onto him.

She sorted out her own neighbours, even if it did result with her getting into trouble with the police.

BB_Eye 17-10-2010 08:44 PM

Spit in his face

Tom 17-10-2010 08:45 PM

play your music louder

Smithy 17-10-2010 08:46 PM

What music is he playing?

InOne 17-10-2010 08:47 PM

Get some guys round to "have a word"

AJ. 17-10-2010 08:48 PM

StinkBomb under the door, he would have to go out for sure :)

Tom 17-10-2010 08:50 PM

brick his windows

Josy 17-10-2010 08:51 PM

Phone the Anti Social Task Force and get him an asbo :joker:

BB_Eye 17-10-2010 08:58 PM

Do something to him that would get you 10 ASBO's.

That's the thing he seems to have just one CD of Spanish music that he has on repeat and that's what he ****ing plays over and over again, and if it's not that it's some bloody annoying classical crap!!! :cloud:

My system is not as good as his so I can't play music as loud as him but i've got kerrang radio on anyway and since I suffer from insomnia right now anyway, he's going to be hearing it all the way through the night. Neither of us are sleeping tonight!!!! *****!! :cloud!

Stacey. 17-10-2010 10:09 PM

lmfao Spanish music :L

Do you even understand what the songs are about?

MTVN 17-10-2010 10:14 PM

Surely if he's breaching the building agreement you could make an official complaint?

Scarlett. 17-10-2010 10:14 PM

Staple his nuts to a stack of paper

Eminem's idea, not mine

Smithy 17-10-2010 10:40 PM

Poo in his garden, thats what vicky did

GiRTh 17-10-2010 10:48 PM

Post dog sh*t thru his letter box in an envelope.

Shasown 17-10-2010 10:54 PM

Dont try playing loud music to hack him off because you cant sleep, thats just sinking to his level, tomorrow invite yourself round and take a pair of heavy duty insulated pliers in your pocket.

Bring the conversation round to his stereo, compliment him on it and ask to see it, when he shows you it, cut the power cable to it with said pliers.

Dont snip the cable near the plug, its fairly easy to fit a new plug. Get the pliers as close as you can to the stereo itself and snip there.

GypsyGoth 17-10-2010 11:43 PM

Try and get him to fall in love with you, and then break his heart.

Mystic Mock 17-10-2010 11:45 PM

tell your council.

Joking aside, we had a new neighbour not too long ago and she started putting the dishwasher on at about 11 oclock at night which besides being after the 10 oclock law thing about noise, was pretty weird but anyway, it was INSANELY loud and my mum works shifts and it always woke her up and it was super loud next to my wall so she wrote a note and put it through their door because we'd recently moved in ourselves we didn't wanna cause trouble with the landlady, basicly it was introducing us and saying we hope you like your house etc etc but please can you put the dishwasher on a little earlier and explained why. She stopped but now is a super bitch and snubs us everytime she sees us. But to be fair, I'd take that any day over the noise!

Make an official complaint if hes breaking a rule.

If that fails buy a couple of Subs.. face them both at his wall, turn the dubstep up and watch it shake LOL

Zippy 18-10-2010 07:07 PM

Oh Lord this brings back memories of my last address where the neighbours would play thumping bass music. Drove me insane.

I don't mind hearing like a radio or TV sound fully so much but when its just thump thump bassline it really gets into your head!

Stacey. 18-10-2010 07:33 PM

Sometimes there's like a club night thing at my nearest pub. You can hear the beat of the songs real loud, you can even hear what song's are playing. And you can hear all the shouting and screaming of people walking past my house. And this is at like midnight or after. I don't know why, I sort of like it though. It feels normal and friendly
