Richard and Rob

GypsyGoth 22-10-2010 08:46 PM

I think I've only heard of Martin Freeman before.

setanta 22-10-2010 08:56 PM

Where's Bill Bailey? He was dying to play a dwarf. Pity.

Not really, I'd see the odd half episode each week. The EE guy doesn't look familar.

And I'd like to see Captain America: The First Avenger.

Shaun 22-10-2010 09:19 PM

omg Aidan Turner  he was in Being Human

Locke. 22-10-2010 09:23 PM

Won't be as good as the 3 movies they've already made because the book isn't.

Callum 23-10-2010 04:44 AM

Can't wait for this but I don't see why they need to make two films personally because the book isn't very long.

Nah, I prefer the Hobbit, always have.

Marsh. 24-10-2010 12:14 PM

Are Ian McKellen and Cate Blanchett returning? I'm sure Galadriel was in the book.

But Sean from Eastenders? God, don't think I could take him seriously. And that line about him being a "champion sword fighter" just made me lol for some reason.

The Hobbit: First look at the Dwarves

They look a bit too comedy-ish for me..

Here the first look at the three dwarves from Peter Jackson’s two-part Hobbit adaptation, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: There And Back Again, currently filming in New Zealand (images courtesy of our sister title Total Film). Apparently they’re Nori, Dori and Ori, though don’t ask us which is which (though they’re played by Jed Brophy, Mark Hadlow and Adam Brown You’ll notice there’s a big gap at the top of the picture which usually indicated the image has been taken with a cover shot in mind (that’s where mags can put logos or headlines) but the mind boggles which mag would want this hairy bunch as cover stars. Any suggestions?

Haha... They do look a bit odd. Like something out of epic movie.

King Gizzard 14-07-2011 11:16 PM

The guy on the far right of both pictures looks like the dude who played all the oompa loompas in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Looks really good. This might be the movie that'll actually get me to go the cinema in the first time in forever.

Amazing to think it's been about 10 years since the LotR trilogy.

King Gizzard 22-12-2011 03:40 AM

Had the tune to the hobbit song stuck in my head all day long

fruit_cake 22-12-2011 08:32 AM

I can't remember much about that book

Locke. 07-07-2012 10:46 PM

Not long to go now
