I think this year is stronger than series 5 now
 

I thought it was rubbish at first but now I think its actually better than series 5

The girls are the strongest collective category and love them or hate them (some split opinion) they bring something different and would probably easily slip into the charts

The boys are quite good too, Aiden is a really intense and good performer, Paije is a great singer and Matt is probably going to be the winner and will do well

The groups are terrible but an obvious market for One Direction

The over 28s are hit and miss, Wagner brings a bit of fun to it all, Mary is a fantastic singer even if boring at times (its always good to have someone who can sing in a singing competition and not be "quirky") whilst John is also a good singer, if not a bit forgettable

So yeah in all maybe not a higher level of people who could make it in the music industry but definitely a higher level of talent and much better performances which on an entertainment show is what really counts

I see where you're coming from but I disagree; this series, for me anyway, lacks people you can really support. I don't really care about any of the acts like I did in series 5; and I've watched more of this series than I did of series 5 (e.g. watching auditions, bootcamp etc)

Series 5 is overated.

XF5 by far had the best talent.


This year doesn't come close.

In X Factor 2008 anyone could of won, we all know Rebecca or TreyC two major bores, will win.

I only really liked 3 acts from series 5.

Diana, Laura and Austin.

Ruth and Rachel and Alexandra and Scott were okay.

I didn't get the fascination with JLS. lol

(Yeah JLS have done well now but they didn't exactly sing amazingly while in The X Factor)
