It's really taking the pee that Wagner is still there,I mean c'mon was he better than John?I don't think so,what IS the matter with people that they have to keep someone in just to annoy others?:hugesmile:

This thread was bound to pop up at some point, it happens every year dating as far back as series 2 with Chico

The way I see it is if other acts don't have the support to beat the novelty acts then there is no way they'll be able to sustain a career in the real world

I think its more to do with Wagner himself being very likable.

John's boring, an ultimate lounge singer at best, background noise. Wagner's a bit of fun and provided more entertainment then John ever did and if you can't hold an audience you can't have a career in this business.

Its just cringworthy that even his fans know he cant sing. Its just a massive joke.

i have to agree with this,wagner is funny but not as funny as his being made out to be and john and treyc should have beat no direction and cher bored.

It will be interesting if he stays over one of the favorites (rebecca, matt, cher, one direction, aiden) but it's not such fun to see the underdogs like john leaving who can sing being knocked off by wagner. No one will buy his music, the most he can hope for is a few months on the z list party circuit.

It's just silly now. Surely his "fans" don't actually think he's talented do they?! D:

I could say the same thing about Cher who's been distinctly underwhelming vocally so far. He's entertaining and, as unfair as it is that he's survived over an act who can genuinely sing well, you need to be able to hold an audience's attention to be successful which Wagner at least achieves.

I also notice how a lot of people who dislike wagner, and say he shouldnt be there because he is untalented and that...supported jedward last year. Funny that ;)

You can have a great voice(which John doesnt even btw) but you need more than that to get peoples votes.

Like Tom said, if you can't beat the crap acts at this early stage of the comp then you have no chance in the real world. Its dog eat dog out there.

Wagner's been alive for like three times the number of years Jedward have. How do you, or any of us, know one way or another who's done what in their private lives unless they explicitly admit to it or are caught? And doing cannabis doesn't make someone un-likable..!?

exactly wagner should be more mature than jedward,and it dosent show a good personality traite if you break the law.

Where did you get the info from that he's smoked cannabis? I'd imagine that would have been in his youth...

I don't dislike wagner,but it is plainly obvious he cannot sing.no way should John have gone over him

cctv cameras show him giving cannabis to a work mate earlier this year.
