He himself didn't actually say that though and as you pointed out he did play the guitar himself as well as sing so that, in itself is original on X-Factor!!

Yeah, I didn't get the guitar part or the borrowing of somebody elses version of the Britney song. Nothing remotely new or interesting in it. They did the same with Danyl last year when he basically sang the same way your man did on American Idol... what was the song again? Billie Jean or something like that? They're either too unimaginative or too scared to try anything truly new with the British public.

Why not? I thought it was his best performance so far tbh plus I don't see what difference it makes whether he did a Britany version or a Travis version. Though it makes complete sense that he would do the Travis version rather than the Britany version!

Lol it's been done before, I don't get why everyone's raving about how brilliant it was, Matt has an outstanding voice though.

I like Matt, but his taste in music is putting me off.
