Soham killer Ian Huntley has a girlfriend

What kind of woman could possibly contemplate a relationship with a paedophile who cold bloodedly killed two little girls? I hope to goodness he never gets the chance to impregnate this deluded, desperate woman. It's just obscene.

Shaun 29-10-2010 04:06 PM

he's got SO much going for him.

Lee. 29-10-2010 04:08 PM

What the **** is wrong with some people?? I don't get that at all!

I watched a programme about Ted Bundy recently and he used to get sacks of fan mail whilst in jail from women who claimed to adore him! That's not normal is it?

Jordan. 29-10-2010 04:10 PM

Wow, she must be disturbingly ugly or very desperate. Probably both!

Lee. 29-10-2010 04:10 PM

Oh Hi Angus btw.. :)

Shaun 29-10-2010 04:11 PM

Loads of criminals get loads of women sympathisers for some reason. See Manson. I guess it's the 'I want to reform a bad boy' thing.

Yeah, I suppose that could be the mentality behind it... That and some women actually just like the "bad boy". I personally find it disturbing.

Didn't he have a girlfriend before, Maxine Carr or something? Then after she got moved to a secret location when he went to prison.. so is this like a new girlfriend he's got since he's been in prison?

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 29-10-2010 04:21 PM

theres a bit of difference in a 'bad boy' and a murdering child rapist :L

In the words of Phillip Defranco.

'Bitches be crazy'

Yeah, she helped try and cover up his crime I think, so she served some time in jail as well and the she was given a new identity when she was released (at the tax payers expense :bored:)

How has Huntley actually managed to meet someone if he's been banged up? I guess he must have known her before or something like that :/

Vicky. 29-10-2010 04:53 PM

Taking bad boy loving to the extreme there...

I thought she was found out innocent D: But then I don't know what even happened to her.

I think she was found innocent of assisting him, because she genuinely thought he was innocent, but she did give a false alibi and stuff so she served about 2 years or something like that. She's married again now I think :/

It is obscene that it is allowed to happen, for him and her, it is like a long distance romance, the exchanging of letters and likely even phone calls too,he will be allowed as she will to make a certian number of calls at least, is the actual likely stimulus to the 'relationship'.

For some be it a man towards a woman on a life sentence, or a woman to a man on a life sentence, it is one of those relationships that never end, nothing happens but it goes on and on and therefore the excitement of the chase is always there. if one of them is out of prison then that person knows where the other is all the time,if they are both in prison then both know where the other is all the time too.

It is one of those sick things that happen and I am not a vicious person normally but for crimes like Huntly's I think ALL privileges need to be removed, everything basic only and the comfort of a 'lovng' relationship in any form or with whoever, should not be allowed to occur.

Its sort of a possession thing,I guess, in Psychology it would be called feeling safe in the relationship because with one or both in prison for life, the relationship can never change, its like a fixation that never needs to end as they are never likely to really get together at all. That, thanfully is one small thing we who are horrified at these crimes can be thankful for, but for me, the contact between them should be stopped completely.

Damn, when it said "Ian Huntly has......" on the index page I hoped I was going to open this thread to find ".... been beaten to a pulp" following

This.

Maxine Carr is gonna be furious.

setanta 29-10-2010 06:07 PM

I suppose it must have something to do with the power of infamy or notoriety that extreme cases like this carry, and that would almost definitely hold a certain attraction for the weaker minded or emotionally damaged individuals in a society, giving them maybe a focus in their lives. We all obsess about certain things to varying degress - obviously less taboo or extreme ones for the vast majority of us - and nothings going to change really.

BB_Eye 29-10-2010 06:32 PM

Women are such an enigma at times.

Well it was her that covered up for Huntley knowing what he had done, providing him with an alibi, thereby perverting the course of justice and distracting police attention away from him. And instead of being punished, she was rewarded with a new identity.
