Despite the rumours that the show would begin earlier than it's usual late May start, the announcement of C4's new Friday night line up suggests Big Brother will begin on Friday 26th May.

From next Friday (31st March), the new series of Green Wing airs for eight weeks in hour-long slots at 9pm, followed by My Name is Earl at 10pm which runs through until June and then the six part Beauty and the Geek at 10.30pm.

Friday 26th May therefore seems the logical start date (BB usually airs at 9pm and 10pm) - though in theory it could possibly begin two weeks earlier when Beauty and the Geek is out of the way with some alterations to the C4 schedule pushing Green Wing and My Name is Earl later in to the schedule.

Right, i love BB but i do think people get a little over excited about watching a group of people sit in a house together. I reallyyy do.

Woo!!! So excited already!! :hello: Last year I remember when my JC finished I couldn't not go to a party but I got someone ton text me who got evicted. That an exception. Usually I probaly would stay home or whatever. On hoildays last year I didn't go out on Fridays cos of evictions.

i dont watch the BB live on E4 cos its boring and takes the point out of the evening show as so much of it is daytime stuff.

C4 will DEFFINATLY have something up their sleeve, ITV is planning to show Clebrity X Factor from day2 - day10 if they show it at this time and CLI launches after CXF finishes!

They could be lying about the launch date and it could be may 19th.

Tell me abot it, and with BB i won't do as much.
