My Mum just showed me this article about the Alejandro video, I love Gaga and I think this is utterly ridiculous. My Mum likes her too but she can see what the person is on about. Imo they're reading into it too much, but anyways, heres the link if you wanna see:

In that article they were saying her swallowing the beads was her trying to become God. I was reading it thinking riiiiiight...

Alejandro is the most OTT Video she's ever made.

The song is epic, the video is kind of her trying to take it abit too far.
With the pointless long video, Telephone was epic.

This is like 'yh babe lets make another long video for the lulz'

And then it's like 'Um, No not atm hun x'

But I actually really like the video. The whole thing makes sense imo, then this person who wrote that article came along, and crapped all over it with their wacky theories. :rolleyes:

Well I think wacky theories are quite appropiate for a wacky video.

I like this person's analysis of the video. It makes interesting reading. I don't tend to over-think music videos though, so I doubt I'd have come to the same conclusion.

Well personally I don't. I think this person spends waaaaaay too much looking into stuff like this.

Surely Gaga wants you to look into it a lot, and think about it, otherwise she wouldnt make such odd videos with such ambiguous meanings.

the only one of her videos that may have some sort of ''hidden'' meaning behind them is telephone
that video is just wacky

The only thing her music video 'harbours' is the fact she ripped of Madonna in it.

Gaga's swallowing of the rosary signifies how people just accept and swallow up the doctrine of the church that says being gay is wrong, they adhere to it without question. The German theme - there is something very ominous about the german theme reminiscent of nazi germany; this paired with the reference to the church signify how gay men and women are shunned in todays society by the church, the army and other organizations just as the Jews were by Nazi. The nun outfit Gaga wears signifies how love can be a salvation just as how Christians believe dedicating your life to God can save you. Also, the swallowing of the rosary can signify salvation as well.


Its just mainly about Gaga and her views on the Church, not some wacky Illuminati crap that don't even exist.
