squatting - is it right or wrong even if the house is EMPTY for years ?

squatting

both sides the Joe can spot,
and when i finish this riddle, the reader must no squat.
when i walk round my manner,
the amount of empty property's i see, makes me wish i was a housing planner.
its fuelled by wealth and greed,
and that's why the low paid people will never be freed.
unless you are privileged and extremely well paid,
renting is where you salary will fade.
and if like me this situation dose infuriate,
then squatting is a clear way on how to communicate.
in this day and age it is immoral to have a empty property,
to the land lord or council , its a blatant liberty.
all land should have people living and occupying,
with our current shortage, fairness its supplying.
if your land has been empty for a year and there is no plan,
then its automatically bought off you at 30 % and you are given a buying ban.
this will help homelessness and squatting it will eradicate,
simple plans like this will take away most of the frustrate.

(this is what the joe is thinking lol and i have a feeling i am now going to squatt on tibb message board lol all i would ask is would the sootster move in with me lol ? is that a yes or no sootster ?????

Joe there was a series on TV about a year ago (can't remember what it was called - its an age thing!) anyway some men from an african tribe came to England and it followed their travels and the massive differences with us and their primitive way of life. They pointed out all the empty buidings in the cities and the homeless living on the streets and pointed out in there village if someone's hut were damaged the whole village would come together and rebuild it, of course thats the obvious thing to do. I agree with you, what a screwed up world............................

Kind of negates the need to have a mortgage or pay rent, doesn't it. Makes me wonder why we don't all completely absolve ourselves of all responsibility, give up paying rent or a mortgage and go and squat in someone else's property.

But Squatting in a House that has people living in,
is Very Wrong.

New Laws are soon to stop those criminals.

I dont understand why squatters are protected by "squatters rights" if you dont own the property you have no right to live there.

I agree, I have never understood the squatters rights thing at all.If there is no connection to the house or the people already living there then I cannot see where its right to squat at all.

The issue of empty houses is a bit different but the begging question to that is why are there any empty houses at all when people need housing.

I'd say squatting is wrong, full stop.
