\'Shipwrecked\' returning again in 2007
Channel 4 has commissioned another series of Shipwrecked for broadcast next year.
The T4 reality show launched in 2000 and ran for three series as a 10-episode, fly-on-the-wall format following a group of twentysomethings living together on a remote Pacific island. After an absence of several years, the show was resurrected last year as Shipwrecked: Battle Of The Islands, this time featuring two rival islands competing for new contestants. The next series is expected to follow the same format, with 29 contestants participating over the course of the mammoth five-month shoot. Filming on the 20x60' episodes will begin on the South Pacific island of Aitutaki this summer for transmission early in 2007. Meanwhile, both the 2006 and 2007 series have been sold to Nine in Australia and TVNZ in New Zealand. |
I'd love to go on this. One thing that I'd love to accomplish in my life is to do something like this.
