Jay-Z wants to make Cher Lloyd a star
 

Jay-Z has revealed he was impressed with Cher Lloyd's performances on The X Factor - particularly when she performed his version of ‘Hard Knock Life’ during one of the live shows - and is already coming up with ambitious plans for her future.

He said: “I could get myself, Kanye West, Beyonce and Rihanna all working on her debut album and that would make it an automatic hit.

“I was very impressed with her version of ‘Hard Knock Life’ – it should be a track on her debut album and I would happily add my lyrics to it.”

However, the ’99 Problems’ hitmaker would face competition from show chief Simon Cowell.

The music mogul’s fellow judge Louis Walsh is convinced his pal has already drawn up plans to give Cher – who is mentored on the show by Cheryl Cole – a record deal when the contest ends.

He said: “Simon believes that Cher will be the biggest success story of this year and he’s trying to butter her up. I’m sure he’s got something in the pipeline already, like a record deal. The plan will be to release a single next summer with a massive promotional campaign behind her.

“Simon’s already totally crazy about Cher and he’s already active in her future career. He feels she’ll sell millions and make some serious money. She’s had all the attention in the competition so far.”
