Is Louis going too far

From celebrity gossip.IF this is true,do you think Louis is going too far with his personal comments?
Yesterday it was rumoured that X Factor judges Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole were involved in a heated debate outside the London studios... and now we think we know why.

Mr Walsh has reportedly been speaking to the press about Cheryl's mini-me Cher Lloyd and apparently has very little good to say.

According to Closer magazine, Louis said: "I've heard rumblings of what is going on in the house - there's a lot of parties, they're teenagers.

"But Cher is definitely the out of control one! She causes a lot of trouble. She's as miserable and moody as she looks."

Oooh... obviously Louis isn't as twinkly-eyed and sweet as he looks.

He didn't stop there either. The X Factor mentor toddled straight off to Heat magazine, to say: "Cher is believing her own publicity, which is a big mistake. I don't get any warmth from her.

"She needs to learn to be nice to everybody - because you'll meet them on the way down."

Louis went on to say that there's no way he could work with diva Cher since she's "picked up all these weird musical things and makes funny faces" from listening to American R&B... something Louis has obviously steered well clear of.

And just to finish off his anti-Cher rant, he added: "There's no likeability there."

The question is, can Cher win The X Factor without the "likeability" factor? Let us know what you think below...

I think if you know someone is presenting a false image of themselves and you hear the others like Cheryl and Simon massively overhyping Cher then likely there comes a time when you speak out.

This is what Louis does, love him or hate him, waht you see is what you get with Louis, the moment he said something negative as to Cher other press and media would pounce for more.

I think Louis is like a great many others this series, fed up with Simon totally bending over backwards to please Cheryl on this series, also I think last week with the loss of Aiden over Katie was a last straw for Louis.

Louis shows all his negative side as well as his good and popular side, he says what he thinks and he clearly has better inside knowledge of Cher backstage on the show than any of us.

I don't think he's going too far yet, but I am glad he is making noises against the bias to Cheryl and also 2 of her acts this series which has become rediculous, if Cher didn't sing a note, Simon would likely say 'I Loved that'.
Mind you so would I if she didn't.

Well Louis knows the girl in real life and think he knows her better than any of us, i liked Cher in auditions but from bootcamp on i have seen what she is, once she lied about writing lyrics that was enough for me, i find her very cold and a bit too arrogant for my liking and no Louis isn't going too far, think he is as annoyed about the XFamily ie Simon Cheryl and the kids cher and katie as alot of people are plus he sees alot of the backstage antics we don't, so good on you Louis for telling it how it is.

I really like Simon Joey,he IS a very nice caring man,but I have been a bit disappointed in him this year,he seems to have lost his edge when judging, maybe he has been told to be nicer to people,I don't know, but something is missing, maybe his mom has told him off, lol,Maybe he does genuinely like Katie, but he must know the public don't and they are the ones who buy the records,as for Louis,he does make me laugh, sometimes I think he is a little TOO childish, like his remark about Wagner being a YOUNGER version of Elton, lol, but he must know what he is doing and fair play he saved Katie and because she didn't live up to what he thought he voted against her,so at least he was consistant, lets hopethe right thing happens this week, imo Wagner should go then the competition can begin.

Yay! It's the first time I've heard any of the judges saying something true about her :)

louis >>>>>>>>>>>> life

fruit_cake 17-11-2010 09:05 AM

Simon and Cheryl have been ganging up on him for a while

tate 17-11-2010 09:07 AM

No, defo not too far, go Louis!!!

He makes some valid comments about Cher and obviously, as an insider, he see's her more than any of us and I have believed for a while she does believe her own hype and now Louis has confirmed this

As for what goes on in the house, it is no mistake that he removed Mary last week and put her in a hotel ... maybe Cher was the catalyst for that hence his honest outburst?

joeysteele 17-11-2010 09:11 AM

Kazanne, I have always had massive respect for Simon, there is as you say loads missing from him this year, he was always a realist, constructive and fair, he didn't suffer fools gladly and no way in any previous X Factors, would he have ever allowed 4 second chances to be given to an act like he has Katie, he even because they had been in the bottom 2 about 3 times voted out his own act The Conway Sisters saying it was clear they could never win.

That's the Simon I want to see, he is a master of his art and knows what is right but like the poster above who says in this series as to an X Factor family namely being Simon, Cheryl,Cher and Katie, well that has an ironical ring to it, for me Ms Cole has spoiled the X Factor, this series particularly, and I feel all the aggro is that like never before for any judge, Simon is determined along with his production team to keep Ms Cole happy at any cost to anyone else.

I think that is also behind the more caustic friction between Simon and Louis this year too.

I just would like the Simon back who really sorted things out with little bias to anyone judge or act or staff of any kind for any length of time.

I wish Louis would talk more in a conversational style. It's all soundbites and fractured sentences.

nanaimo 17-11-2010 11:00 AM

well cher did say "i'm going to be a millionaire this time next year" nuff said

Z 17-11-2010 03:35 PM

He's saying what I've always felt - she's an ambitious girl but a bad attitude's being dragged along with her ambitions, she's not very likable and her dynamics with the other contestants seem to be a very cold relationship; she only cares what Cheryl has to say and doesn't seem to get on with many of the other contestants. Ruthless can be a good thing, but I think she needs to be a bit friendlier and not believe her own hype as much because if it all comes crashing down around her she's going to have a bit of a meltdown I think!

Hes a miserable old man obviously hes going to have something bad to say about teenagers.

The amount of double standards he has is laughable, it was okay for Jedward to annoy everyone last year but this year its not acceptable.

That's also true; I generally find Louis really annoying and cliched; I also think that his comments about Cher are extremely unprofessional - but he's said what I was thinking anyway, so I can at least agree with him on this one... but you're right, he is so full of double standards.

Mystic Mock 17-11-2010 03:44 PM

louis is definetly not taking it to far as its about time somebody went against simon and chav 1 and 2.
