Welcome to the Twilight Appreciation Thread.

Twilight is a series of four vampire-themed fantasy romance novels by American author Stephenie Meyer. It charts a period in the life of Isabella "Bella" Swan, a teenage girl who moves to Forks, Washington, and falls in love with a 104-year-old vampire named Edward Cullen. The series is told primarily from Bella's point of view, with the epilogue of Eclipse and Part II of Breaking Dawn being told from the viewpoint of character Jacob Black, a werewolf. The unpublished Midnight Sun is a retelling of the first book, Twilight, from Edward Cullen's point of view. The novella The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, which tells the story of a newborn vampire who appeared in Eclipse, was published on June 5, 2010 as a hardcover book and on June 7 as a free online ebook.

I've been out tonight that's all! God i am such a saddo when it comes to Twilight! Never ever liked anything fantastical at ALL, but I love love love the books and the films are ok :D

Me too, I love the film and the books so far. I can't wait for Breaking Dawn, the book is easily in my top five books ever and considering how awesome the films have been up until now I have high expectations for it lol. :hugesmile:

Oh I can't wait for Breaking Dawn either.. it is by far the best book! To me the books aren't a patch on the films but are ok for a quick Edward fix! :D

The books are a lot better than the films I do agree. I'm weird though cause I read Breaking Dawn first after I watched all three other films. After I watched them, I thought "pfffft I cba to read all these books when I just watched the films, lets skip to Breaking Dawn ^^ ! ".

Twilight is awesome so far, I'm up to the part where Bella is about to go round to the Cullen's house for the first time. Reading Twilight has really shown me how much stuff they missed in the film. :shocked:

Omg 6 times?! :eek: I can barely read a book once!!

And I've seen the films a bunch of times too, Eclipse is my favourite atm, New Moon is a bit long to watch now, but that might be because I've seen it 3 times lol

yeah its beginning dec & they are currently filming breaking dawn
the books are better (hence the multiple reads) eclipse is fav film

yep they are the filming is being done back to back but the actual films are gonna be two parter

Oh I can't wait!! I just wish Stephanie Meyer would keep the story going.. I'll feel like there'snothing to lookforward to after both Breaking Dawn films are out.

They' re immortals so she could actually keep writing about them for evermore! I would actually like her to develop the Renesme/Jacob story.. In fact there's so many ways she could go!

I think I'll email her my ideas actually! :laugh:

she still has midnight sun to finish too, i'd love to hear more of the edward/bella story wouldnt like to read more of the jacob/nessie side although i'm guessing if she continued it that would happen

Oh yeah, obviously I'd like to read about Edward/Bella over anybody else. But yeah, there must be a story there about Renesme growing up/Jacob and Edward and Bella. Will the Volturi accept the Renesme/Jacob thing? Oh there's so many questions that SM could answer!!
