Shock Elimination Instore Tomorrow?

I think most people thought the bottom 2 would be made of Katie, Wagner and Paije but after tonight I think theyre all safe!

Katie - new image, last performance, 1 of her best.
Paije - his best performance (him and Katie both out singing the front runners).
Wagner - Cheryl's 'attack' on him will rake in the votes.

Which leaves Matt, Rebecca, Mary, One Direction and Cher, all considered worthy as finalists unlike the other 3 in most cases.

Smithy 20-11-2010 08:31 PM

tbh I think it could be Cher, she was on early and rather forgettable

Patrick 20-11-2010 08:32 PM

Rebecca will be in the Bottom 2.

If it's Cher I'm slitting my wrists x

Novo 20-11-2010 08:32 PM

Mary/Wagner/Paije/Katie

It will be any of those two but Katie will be saved against those 3 so it's okay

Cher is the most iconic contestant of this whole series, hardly forgettable.

And she has a massive fan base.

But if you're talking about tonight, in order of who sang then yeah.

Locke. 20-11-2010 08:34 PM

Mary and Paije bottom 2 I think.

It's kinda unpredictable this week cos the favourites were all on first, but I think most their fans will be voting this week because of that. Paije was great but I think he has a small fanbase, Wagner has been saved thanks to Cheryl.

Iconic?? :laugh3:
Ok, she isn't iconic in anyway shape or form, she's one of the most talked about contestants this year of course, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's safe.

cher, matt & 1D are going nowere ..rebecca im not sure about

I haven't been following the polls but it was refreshing to see the public had spotted Aiden and Katie as the bottom two (despite Judges acting like they were good).

IF the public is still using this reasonable judgment then 1 Direction ought to be gone. I actually like Paige,
but,
Its possible Paige is one that hasn't quite fully 'connected' with any particular fan base?
Since he is not a Matt or Rebecca (in terms of singing skills) then yeah.. I could see him end up down there.

Katie should also find herself at the bottom again.

Of course the problem is that you get to these 'fan bases' and I'm told the Boy Band has the power of screaming phone-happy teenagers. So they may very well be safe.

I'm also hearing Mary has a big strong core fan-base? So she is probably safe.

Matt and Rebecca are so fantastically good and a league above the whole competition that I cannot imagine them anywhere but the finals.

Good performances don't translate into safety though; there have been countless occasions where one or both acts in the bottom two were universally praised by the judges and then found themselves in the sing off. I'm thinking Paije and maybe Mary will be the bottom two; I think Katie will reel in enough sympathy votes to survive this week and Wagner's fanbase seems to grow stronger every time he gets criticised or something hypocritical happens.

Rebecca kind of annoyed me on Xtra factor by saying she'd murdered a Beatles classic. Firstly, she really wasnt that bad at all. Just relatively below her usual high standards.

But to put such negativity out there about herself aint gonna do her any favours with voters. She needs to wise up.

Tom4784 21-11-2010 12:30 AM

It'll be Paije & Wagner/Katie.

Good point.
She was just a little too 'samey' (to borrow a phrase from another member) and just a little too pedestrian with it. But as you say it was, in fact, very very good.. just a smidgen below her usual great high standards.

So yeah, no need for her to beat herself up for being 'just excellent' instead of 'very excellent'.

aiden was meant to be the shock elimination, although i wouldnt be surprised at a predictable and a shocker in the bottom two.

Locke. 21-11-2010 01:41 AM

Aiden was not a shock

so you wouldnt call dodging the first 5 weeks without hitting the bottom two was meant to be a big contender to win and then gets lesser votes than katie waissel a shock?

Did you not see his performance? Shocking.

bbfan1991 21-11-2010 01:57 AM

I hope it's not Cher, Katie or Wagner:). If Mary got to the final they would have her duet with SuBo which is my worst nightmare:shocked:. One Direction will be there till the final:bawling:.

He wasn't a big contender to win, other than his few fans everyone else has known for week that the big contenders are Matt, Rebecca, One Direction and Cher, no on else has had a chance to win for a while now.

Jamietwo 21-11-2010 02:58 AM

this is where it gets interesting, especially if wagner is not in the bottom two

I agree, I think it was shocking that Aiden went the week he did, but he was never going to get anywhere near the final. He'd have been gone this week or next if he was still in.

Adamw92 21-11-2010 10:36 AM

As long as Rebecca is safe I'll be happy :D
