Liberal Democrats - a future?
 

I just wondered what your feelings are on the Liberal Democrats following the coalition deal. I was a big supporter of them before the election; and still support their 'princibles' now. However, following Cloggs leadership and the biggest U-Turn in princibles since Princess Diana began killing lepers* I have lost alot of party loyalty.

At the moment I wont be voting for them in 2015 - but I suppose things COULD change for the better by then. What are your thoughts on them - and please take the poll.

P.S - Just realised what rubbish poll options there are - my view counts as 'other'

*OK, as far as I know she didn't kill lepers... but this is basically the size of some of their U-Turns.

No, they've been exposed as a party that will sell out everything they ever stood for just for a bit of power

They're also completely inept

If they hadnt formed the coalition they would be sitting there with 50-odd seats and have very little influence in parliament. At least now they have a little more leeway to try and push some of their policies through. Admittedly, they still have little say in matters but there are definite Lib Dem influences in some of the Coalitions actions.

I cant vote btw, but when I can I dont see myself ever voting Lib Dem

This year was the first time I could vote - but before then I always perceived them as too indecisive. I agree with them in a lot of principles - but I don't think they have any, as they've proved with the tuition fees. They're just as opportunistic as the other 2 parties - willing to talk big, but act little.

I voted for them once... at this election, just so we might have electoral reform and because they were less right-wing than Labour and the Tories.

Although my constituency are unwavering Labour supporters and continues to have a Labour MP representing us, I still regret voting for Clegg. What a complete and utter opportunist and invertebrate. I should have known better.

There Future could be in the Next Conservatve joint power, yes again,
if Dead Labour fail.

it doesnt matter which party you vote for as they are all in the pocket of the banks

The Liberals have shown themselves to be weak negotiators when they agreed to more or less impose Tory slash and burn and rob policies......


Co-operating in politics is one thing. Caving in into beliefs opposite what was stated during an election campaigne is something that is wrong and unforgivable.........Liberal voters have been betrayed big time.........

One would and indeed I should hope this will be the end of what has always been a useless middle of no where party.....

Better a two party system then at least you will have a straight forward winner at an election

Never voted for them and I never will. I suspect in the next General Election that they will do even worse than ever because of their allegiance with the Tories. People that 'didn't know them' before will be even more confused about their policies.

I voted for them for the first time this year but will never do so again. Clegg is just Cameron's bitch.
