Picking the callers?
 

.....any reason why they have taken away the option of letting the judges picking the callers they wanted from the list? ...(on the xtra factor)

because they are terrible at making the right choices?!

Also why the callers part is now infront of the live audience...

I was shocked they let that caller through, the one who questioned Cheryl about why she made the wagner comments on national TV instead of in private

I think people are getting wise and lying during the phone vetting process ;)

Either that or the callers are set up :laugh:

Well she seemed uncomfortable with it so I reckon the caller just lied. Her saying that to him was outrageously unprofessional, just like her snubbing Jay K

yeah when he played on the show a few weeks back. he had made some comments in an interview that her and Dannii had no business judging anyone or something and she never even clapped after he finished, just sat there with a face like thunder!:joker:

She's had a bit of a face on her this season. I still wouldn't kick her out of bed for biting her toenails, but seriously, cheer the ******* up.

I think the whole of Xtra Factor should be presenter on the main stage. They could bring in a couch. :D

Why? No honesty allowed? Let's not rattle the cages and make the judges answer an actual question out of logic rather than pulling an answer from their arses? I don't mind Katie, so I'm not a hater, but what that caller was asking made perfect sense.

Indeed. And Louis defense made no sense at all. We know none of the personally...we are meant to vote for her on the say so of a couple of people who say in reality she is a nice girl and deserves a chance...no matter how bad the singing is :/

Yes, Vicky. You just hit the *******ing bullseye. Judge it on the singing. I really do not give a ******* if she's nice or not. The last time I checked, she isn't having Christmas dinner at my house so I really don't care how nice she is. Sing, b****. Sing.

He wasnt though. He made no sense at all. And was very rude, and getting the audience to chant her off was just stupid and childish.

She has a great point, and his argument did not hold up. We cant judge her personality...if we dont know her, and the show is about singing anyway. If she is coming across as unlikeable, it makes no difference at all how she actually is, as none of us are likely to have the pleasure of meeting her.

This is where you're missing the point. Katie wasn't being attacked so Looloo didn't need to defend her. A point was being made.

Katie's taken enough abuse and its a credit to her that she's still in the competition fighting. She was also the best performer by miles on Saturday night IMO

Yeah I agree with that. Apart from the best performer...but she did deserve to make it through this week...

But the caller did not attack her in any way. Only said she is coming across as unlikeable...to which she was blasted down by cries of 'thats sooo unfair' and 'you dont know her' and such. Even said that she may be coming across as unlikeable because of the editing. But the fact remains, she does appear unlikeable, and no amount of ;shes a lovely person in real life' will change that :S

Ok... I don't agree one bit with the abuse she's had, but unfortunately poo happens. Just hold your nose and go about your business.

Why is Katie unlikeable??? I don't see anything unlikeable about her at all, she tries hard and isn't scared of facing all her haters... unlike Matt who scowls at people who he thinks aren't worth of being in the competition!!

It is different opinions.

Personally I think she has since the auditions come across as a bit of a spoilt brat, expecting everything to be handed to her on a plate. She is a drama queen. She reeks of desperation, and the sod it thing really did her no favors. She doesnt seem like someone I would get on with...but everyone thinks differently and will interpret events differently i guess. The million and one different 'mes' doesnt really help either, seems fake.

IF she is a nice person, the editors arent half doing a hatchet job on her :laugh:
