Hard as Nails

That snake really went for him

King Gizzard 25-11-2010 09:10 PM

The last thing I would do if a snake bit me is wave around trying to get it off and shouting

Would make it more agitated

Kerry 25-11-2010 09:11 PM

He was brilliant. You could see in his eyes he was in agony and looking for help but totally kept his cool

Patrick 26-11-2010 12:03 AM

See,

I thought to myself what I'd do if I was in that situation.

I decided it'd come down to two things...

1. I pull my hand out of the slot with the snake wrapped around it, and bang the snake of the wall whilst clinching my fist so I'm squashing it. And just pull the bastard apart.

Or, And probably the more safe and wise thing to do:

2. Just stand there like :bored: and shout 'Bob!' whilst giving the little bastard a dirty look.

The Snake, Not Bob.

Omah 26-11-2010 12:07 AM

Anybody can talk the the talk, but Shaun walks the walk .....

Throwing it would have just made it go beserk. He did great. I'd have panicked

He was brilliant, I found it very tense to watch.

I was surprised they carried on after what it did to Lembit.

I wouldn't have coped as well as Shaun, I would have had to taken a few weeks off sick just to get over the trauma.

He was very quiet afterwards. I think he was shocked (who wouldn't be) but he may have been told to rest

Jamietwo 26-11-2010 08:06 PM

it was a safe snake, doctors and zoo keepers were hovering 12 inches away I don't see how he is hard... just seems like a bit of a grumpy fat old drug addict

lembit had more balls in that task

Stacey. 26-11-2010 08:07 PM

I know right! He just stood there like nothing was happening. D:

I wish he would "accidentally" tip McKeith over a bridge into, say, a really mucky pool or a comfortable bush crawling with creepies .....

Angus 28-11-2010 11:00 AM

I loved Shaun before, but after his tongue lashing of that lying prunefaced cow last night, I adore him:lovedup: SHAUN FTW!

Marc 28-11-2010 11:02 AM

I still think he's high from all the drugs.

I half expect him to come around whilst he's in there and just freak out that he's in a jungle with some poo-expecting hypochondriac
