I used to love Aztec Bars, Mint Cracknel Bars - as well as crips you don't get now, Tudor were the make and their best flavours were Steak-n-Onion and Gammon, no crisps today come anywhere close!

You still get whoppers... but they aren't quite the same as I remember them being when I was a kid.

Just remembered footballs. Not sweets but crisps. Little round balls which were like a smokey bacon flavour. Uh, they were gorgeous

Wonky Bars. Marble.

A quarter of choc lick which was ground up smarties and crunchies and other choclate bits was my fave.

My Nan used to get me a quarter of Cherry Lips and a quarter of sweet letters every week when she did her shopping

mmmmm ive got a proper sweet tooth now and no sweets in the house :(
you can still get cherry lips,sweet letters and choc lick here they have everything! (bit steep though about £2 a quarter)

Taz Bars

I think they were replaced by caramel freddos but ive not seen them for a long time.

Wham bars and strawberry refreshers. My local shop still sells them. I send my daughter for them (for me) :D

In my day (god I sound like I'm 50) we had penny sweets. I always used to fill the bag with more than what I said was in there. :hugesmile:


But FTW is Toffee Crumble. By far the most amazing thing in the whole wide world.

Oooooooooooh and strawberry laces. Cola bottles too! I know you can still get them but soooo nice

Aztec bars - must have been about 7 or 8 when I last saw them. Similar to a Mars Bar with raisins in them...delish.

Mint Cracknel bars - was a flat thinnish bar, thin chocolate covering with what can best be described as slivers of minty sugar (imagine very fine shards of glass...but in minty sugar slivers)... .they were brilliant.

Nerds! damn no sweets in the house im gonna pig out tomorrow.
