Sorry to go over a point I made in the other thread but it's true, if any of those 4 sung that then people would have criticised them a lot but because it's Rebecca she'll hardly get any criticism because she's one of the 3 favourites to win...

If it was anyone else like Cher or Katie or Mary it'd be 'Oh you're so boring now, it's getting old and you do the same all the time'.

Rebecca DOES NOTHING but sing a boring song in her bland voice every week and it's literally the same thing, over and over and over!

And no one says anyting, I'd so call into Xtra Factor about it if I could be arsed wasting my money to talk to that silly bint Konnie.

At least Dannii made a valid point by telling Rebecca not to just stand there and sing, the stage is there for a reason so use it to sell the performance even more to the public:).

Its nothing to do with her being on of the faves, it's the fact she has the best voice.

And because she has the best voice she doesn't need all the stupid gimmicks that Cher, Katie and Wagner need

i agree op,rebecca sang **** last week and her 1st performance tonight imo,but because its rebecca she will get away with it for awhile.

It not just about having the best voice..... shes come out week after week and done the same dull performance i cant remember one of her song. :/

It's not 'gimmicks', it's called putting on a show. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't pay money for tickets to her tour to see her stand in the middle of the stage in a black dress for two hours singing twelve ballads. Oh, and Gaga puts on a show [or, in your words, uses 'gimmicks'], so are you really saying Gaga is gimmicky, yes?

I agree Gaga uses gimmicks and owns the stage, this captivates the audience plus she gets them involved and they sing along. You want to make sure that people have had a good time watching your performance and not just stood to the spot;).
