Exactly. Yes he knows Bono very well - was instrumental in U2 staying with Paul McGuinness, actually; but Louis keeps his quite excellent personal taste in music well hidden while he prostitutes himself on the X Factory.
Rebecca's OK, but she did not do a good version of that song. U2 should be largely left alone when it comes to Karaoke competitions; very few can carry it off.

I think Bono's quite a fan of Cher actually..
