My mum just comes in,

'k Patrick I'm away to sleep here, If you're watching EastEnders' omnibus don't be turning the ******ing Christmas Tree on.'

I was like 'k bitch' whilst I was writing my rant at Smithy in Shaun's thread.

And then she was like,

'Oh and would you please change your profile picture back on Facebook please? There's a big thing about it being a group of pea-'

I was like,

'Yes Mum, I know and I'm not changing it back just yet. Anyone that believes that conspiracy theory are ******ing retarded.'

And she was like 'Yeah but-' and I just go,

'No, Listen why the ****** would they say 'Switch back on Monday' if it was a group of peados? Seriously Women, I'm switching back at Midnight but not now! Now leave me be, I've to finish writing this post to someone who wants to stab me'.

And she just walked out of the room and was like 'Fine then!'


Now, I'm not sure what I'm more worried about,

The fact my mum is so ******ing gullible she believes what chavs on Facebook have wrote or that's been on the news tonight about Cartoon pictures?

Or the fact she was more worried about that than someone wanting to Stab me...

But as soon as she walked out someone popped up on FB Chat:

'Patrick! YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR PIC! It was on the news, it's a group of peados that think it's more easier to get into kid's profiles if they have cartoon images!'

It is quite ridiculous - anyone that accepts random friend requests, whether from paedophiles with myspace angles, or paedophiles with a Dora the Explorer picture, is stupid.

It's like suggesting having a picture of me in a burka would attract Muslim extremists - it plays on a really exaggerated stereotype: that the internet is laden with 239 million paedophiles, all of whom happen to be on your son's facebook.
