I really hope Matt doesn't win.
 

He wouldn't be the favourite if it wasn't for his looks, he's got a decent but uninteresting voice and has the personality and artist potential of a wet towel. He started off as my favourite but I can't actually stand him any more. HE'S SO BORING, he'll be Joe McElderry 2.0.

I like him but he is just a poorer version of artists like James Blunt, James Morrison, Paulo Nutini, etc.

I'd like him to win if Cher doesn't though.

He's like Mary except that he's tried and failed at faster paced songs when she didn't bother. Very one dimensional. He can only do ballads.

Part of Cher's image is to be cocky. 99% of hip hop artists are the exact same. In fact, I can't think of one that isn't.

I disagree, throw a rock in America and chances are you'd hit an artist with the same type of voice and style (or in Matt's case, lack of). You need more then a somewhat decent voice and Matt hasn't shown anything but that.

I'm only going on who I personally would listen to and possibly buy afterwards, the only ones I would are Matt and Rebecca. It's a personal taste thing Dezzy and all I ever go on is my own personal taste. You may find him boring, I don't.

Matt has gone beyond cocky with his attacks on Katie and Cher. Just plain wrong and ungentlemenly. Don't know whether he beats up on a younger sister or something and thinks such behaviour is acceptable.

To be fair to him though, when the finalists all came back out on stage after Mary had been sent home, he did seem to be comforting Cher.

Still doesn't mean he was ok to call her a twat earlier in the week, if it the papers were telling the truth anyway.

I seriously don't think so, pretty disgraceful IMO, I would never dream of attacking a female verbally like that.

Cher is a twat sometimes though. I still like her and she's a toughie, but she needs to be told off when she has a drama.

Back to Matt. I don't think he'll win and I don't think Simon would want him to win.

He reminds me of all of the previous male winners. Shayne vocally, Steve physically, Joe in the sense that he never puts a foot wrong vocally, Leon in the sense that he's getting votes from people who think he's cute... and that's not a recipe for success. I think he will flop if he wins, I can't picture the type of music he would do, I'm imagining a sort of Paolo Nutini, James Blunt acoustic sound, and that just isn't popular right now. He would be a deserving winner, as would Rebecca, but I don't think he'd be a successful one. A male winner needs charisma, something that the previous four have lacked.

Think he's a twat, but has a good voice and I hope he wins if Cher doesn't.

Look he may have called Katie far worse (***** according to the media). He also attacked Wagner. You just don't do that to a fellow competitor, you keep your thoughts to yourself, otherwise you inevitably come across as arrogant and judge and jury, when it is he who is supposed to be being judged.

It is one thing for us to rant about their behaviour on a forum, but I certainly would keep shtum about my thoughts if I was a contestant. He needs to learn a bit of decorum.

If that story about Katie is true than I also think he was completely justified, If it's true she made up a story about him sleeping with her, who wouldn't be angry? Being female does not mean it's ok to say stuff about someone and not expect it back.
