Overused words/phrases on TiBB.
 

Do any members have a catchphrase? Name and shame.

Ones I've noticed:

vile - oh for the love of god, get a new word.
wurk it - but I think it's overused for the point of being...gimmicky.
troll - does this word even have meaning any more? I'm just as guilty as anyone of overusing it - but I don't even think it's a legitimate insult now. It can mean anyone looking to cause forum agitation. When it should mean someone who solely causes forum agitation.
epic - see vile.
legend - far too diluted now. When you belong on a site where Marcus Akin and Stacey Solomon are described as 'legends', you have problems.
fail - Again diluted - seems to be used now even if you make a typo...
this - I'm guilty of this. LOLOL. But seriously...repeat offenders need to be more interesting.
:') - **** off with this emoticon! It's a forum where it's not even a shortcut you daft slags.

to be honest (tbh) and to be fair (tbf) I always use them on here but rarely do in r/l

the 2008 over used word was " Mess " i am sure everyone got called it at some point

Would seem "bitch" and all derivatives of it is flying up the overuse chart

The inclusion of the redundant word "like" in like every second sentence for like no apparent reason.

Fail wasn't either yet it was over used so it goes the same with pwned and owned. :hugesmile:
