okay so today I applied for this job in a take away restraunt, and the guy there seemed nice and everything, he asked for me and my friends details (she applied there too) and he told us he would get in contact with us. He seemed really genuine because he was telling us about places that were looking for people to work, that would be good for us because we need part time jobs. We told him how we have food hygiene certificates and all that crap, that are good for working in food type places, so it all seems okay.
But then he told us he would message us on facebook, which I thought was kinda unprofessional and a bit dodgy, but I just went with it anyway. Now, he has just text me saying that he cant find me and my friend on facebook, and asking where else we have applied. I only left this place like an hour ago.

Is it stupid to feel a bit intimidated by this? In his texts he puts kisses and everything, it just seems soo unproffesional and not right. He has my address aswell. My friend doesnt want to go there anymore cause shes a bit freaked out, and im starting to feel the same. is that silly?

Hmm I can see what you mean but maybe go down there again just to make sure? The kisses could mean nothing, I know that I do them out of habit sometimes so maybe that was the case with him? :shrug:

The Facebook thing does sound unprofessional though imo.
