Stacey Soloman + Shaun Ryder releasing Fairytale of New York
SEAN RYDER and Stacey Solomon are to rush out a version of Fairytale of New York, the Happy Mondays singer announced today.
As predicted by LondonNet on the night the pair finished winner and runner-up in I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Solomon and Ryder aim to cash in on their unlikely double act by recording one of the most famous Christmas duets of all time. Given the proximity of Christmas, Ryder told BBC Breakfast that the festive single would come out via download. Just over a week ago, LondonNet's tongue in cheek call for Ryder and Solomon to cover Fairytale... was picked up by an intrepid reader, who started a Facebook page to encourage the jungle pals to cement their friendship in song. Our original story reporting on the campaign is here. http://www.londonnet.co.uk/entertain...-new-york.html Don't really see the point in this |
Oh no.
Why are they gonna bother? It will never be able to hold a candle to the original. |
I'll be interested to hear it, they're both good singers, unlikely pairing indeed!
