Poundland challenge

Has anyone ever done on of these? It's usually doe between a small group of friends or a small group of work colleagues. There are 8 people where I work and instead of spending loads of money on presents we decided to do a poundland challenge - You can only get one present for each person and it has to be from a pound shop. Basically I've spent 7 pounds altogether and I'll get 7 presents. It's a bit of cheap fun and makes buying Christmas presents a lot less stressful, rather than worrying about money. Has anyone ever done this?

It's crazy what you can get in there. Some of the stuff could be sold for about 10 pounds in other places. There's massive hardback 2011 diaries that would be about 7 quid in WH-absoluteripoff-SMITH.

I love poundland

Even though before they wouldn't let me buy a pair of fake tits because you have to be 18. :bawling:

Poundland is such ****, they make you pay more for some things, making you think it's cheap as it's only £1 obviously, yet other places it'd be less D:

But other things, you would normally pay about 5/10 pounds for. Depending on what you buy, you can save a lot of money.

Yeah.. that's the price you have to pay though for such good quality bargains.
