I'd love to see it but I'll be reading in bed or sleeping by then. I have to do some stupid xmas shopping tomorrow.

Apparently the moon may turn pink or even blood red

I'll take a look but probably won't see the full thing. Have seen a lunar eclipse before though

Starts at 5:38am I think it said. Then just moves across for about 2 hours until the moon is totally red

BTW it's not hugely dramatic. I've seen it before. It just looks pink :D It's just the fact it's the first time it's fallen on winter solstice in nearly 400 years that makes it pretty..... unique. No one else in our years has witnessed it

LOL don't be. It's just a clear night. The moon just turns a bit pinkish bit by bit :)

We all probs won't get to see now :joker: I don't think the actual full coverage happens until around 7am
