By the way, few parts of Doctor Zhivago were filmed over Here in Finland (back then late 60's). Outside scenes of moving train and iced lake scenes. Film studio did create Varykino "ice palace" in Spain, i must say it is a very impressed place because it looks real! They did use Beeswax all over to create that "snowy" effect. I don't think that they could do that in these days.

People say the air is much cleaner/less polluted in Finland, because of its small population, which is quite an achievement considering everybody would have to be driving 4X4's to get around in that sort of snow. :shocked:

Actually those pics are from my mothers house, i do live about 8 kilometers away from her. Did visit her today and take few pictures over there. But all the same. She has a beautiful house. If i would upload pics from my yard, it would not be so beautiful. But that same coldness and snow i do have.

Not gonna tell everything about me but i'm 36 years old, and i do also live quite nicely. But perfect place for Christmas were my mothers home.
